 Way to state the obvious.
You would be correct, if all signs in shops and cafes had perfect grammar. That's 1 thing shop signs have in common with MSE comments Hope over Fear. #VoteYes0 Hope over Fear. #VoteYes0

The cake pic was to emphasise the gingerbread flavouring. Not once have I been into a Starbucks/Coast and interpreted that as cake and latte.0

As far as I'm aware, it's ginger bread latte, not cake. Gees, next they'll be complaining at the lack of crusty loaf with their coffee... lol0

I've never visited one where they haven't tried to make me buy a piece of cake with my coffee
suggestive selling.... gets on my nerves.
 Q. Would you like me to put an extra shot of coffee in that for you sir?
 A. Only if you feel the need to pay for it yourself son.
 Q. Would you like any cakes or pastries to go with your coffee sir?
 A. No, I'm already getting some gingerbread with it like in the picture!!!!0

I made a point of actually looking at the poster this morning. It's not very often I'm awake BEFORE I get the coffee!
The one in my starbucks does indeed have a picture of both a gingerbread latte (in a red cup ) and a slice of ginger loaf cake. It has "Daily Offering" at the top. ) and a slice of ginger loaf cake. It has "Daily Offering" at the top.
I asked Di, the lovely Manageress, whether there was a set price for both of those that had been on the poster. She said there hadn't. And to be honest, I believe her - she has no reason to lie (she knows I'll go there regardless and didn't know why I was asking).
BUT - the poster next to it, advertising the Christmas specials DOES have prices on it - for the eggnog latte and the peppermint mocha. Maybe you got a bit confused OP and merged two posters into one?We may not have it all together, but together we have it all

But as in your first post you quite clearly stated"daily offering, ginger cake latte"
In jno way does that say you get a latte and a bit of ginger cake does it. It clearly states a gingerbread flavoured latte.
but well done for coming back on thread when someone agreed with you"If you no longer go for a gap, you are no longer a racing driver" - Ayrton Senna0

Exactly, I've been in a couple of starbucks around Edinburgh for the past few weeks, they all have the same graphic, but the text says "Ginger bread Latte".
It's all in the, not so small "small print":exclamatiTo the internet.. I need to complain about something!0
