Thanks tara, looking forward to some blue skies!
BTW I agree with your idea of motivational reading stuff and would recommend it to everyone! I've got a little stack of easy-to-read healthy living, anti-ageing, superfoods, exercise, health and beauty type books that live by the side of the bed! All bought from the charity shop, book sales etc for pennies. They are really helpful to flick through from time to time and get refocussed.
I have a couple by Leslie Kenton. Some of her ideas are a bit extreme for me, but she is a great exponent of holistic-type health, beauty and fitness and staying youthful type stuff for mind and body and I dip in and out of her books quite often. Hmm! Maybe I should leave them in front of me on the coffee table for when I get home from work and tempatation strikes!!
Good idea, I'll try to leave mine where I can see them as well :rotfl:
I have a Leslie Kenton book, not read it yet but I will.
Dragon and Maldives lover, WOO HOO on your weight loss!!!! Well done my lovelies!!!! :T:T:T
OK, had my WI this morning - 142.6lbs (10st 2.6lbs). So that's my official starting weight for 2011 - Dragon, can you put it in the first post please? It's actually not as bad as I thought, but I did delay weighing myself as I am sure I put on weight over Christmas and feel like I have lose a pound or two since then. Thanks Tara747.
Do you mind me asking how tall you are? I'm 5'2" and currently 10st 10. I'd like to get down to 9st 13 which is at the top of my ideal weight range and will put me in a size 10. 8st 7 seems very light but it does depend on height. I was 9st 3 about 9 years ago but to be honest it was too light for me I was a size 8 and looked like I'd got a lolipop head which is why I'm aiming for 9st 13. Having said that, when I reach my target I may choose to lose anyother 5-6lb who knows.0 -
I'm 5'3". My ideal weight range is between 107lbs (7st9lbs) and 141lbs (10st 1lb). So I am over the limit!!!
I was just under 8st at one stage which was too thin, my ideal weight is 8.5st so that's what I'm aiming towards. I can't wait to fit into my skinny clothes!

Thanks for the info. I'm beginning to wonder if I should be looking at a lower weight, my current target is 9st 13 but I think I should be possibly aiming lower. I'll settle for 9 13 for now and then re-evaluate when I reach my goal, I'll probably have a better idea then0

I think that's sensible ML, you need to see yourself slimmer for a while and then decide if you want/need to shift a few more pounds.Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

I agree, take it one step at a time. If I manage to get to 9st I'll be chuffed, then it's only another 7lbs to my target!
I am doing quite badly atm. I've been skipping meals this week as am very busy and not that hungry (unusual for me). However, I have been grabbing the odd biscuit/cracker on the go, very unhealthy! I'm off out for a walk this evening and am also having a proper dinner (couscous with veg and chickpeas) so will get back on track!
p.s. just noticed in my sig that I am half a stone HEAVIER than when I first started this challenge 2 years ago!!!!! :eek:Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

Well I'm having a bit of a wake-up call as I try on clothes for my impending hols that fitted me beautifully last summer.....
However, I have just optimistically ordered a dress online for a posh do I have just found out I'm going to middle of Feb , so when I get back next Tuesday, I am going to be firing on all cylinders on the diet and exercise front to do it justice!!
