Hi Maldives lover
It is horrifying how quickly the weight can go on.
I am not suceeding in getting focussed at all so far
Today, I have a day off and am going to do a short gym session (first since Xmas) and do some motivational reading (I have a littlestack of healthy living type books !!) to try and get me on track.
Am resigning myself to wearing a ccover up over my bikini when I go away on the 20th, which is a shame. I have just been invited to a big do on the 12th Feb and need a special frock! You would think that would be good motivation wouldn't you? I am rather disappointed in myself at the moment

Hi
The EA Sports game is on the Wii, it's the best one I've used so far, the exercises on the 9 week challenge vary each time so it keeps you motivated and exercises different body parts each time. I've done two sessions this week and my body is screaming out every time I move:rotfl:
Also using my fitness pal to help track my calories and fat etc and I must say I really like it, easy to use and totally free.
It will be nice to post on here and motivate each other.0 -

Hi Bronnie
Sometimes it's just hard to get in the right mindset which makes the dieting and exercise even harder. I've been saying for weeks that I'm going to start then stuff my face with chocolate and crisps:eek: but having got on the scales on Monday that was it decision made will lose the the weight and shape up. Don't give yourself a hard time, it won't help and lets face it you'll probably be eating and drinking on holiday anyway so you might as well just enjoy it and think about the diet afterwards. Wish I was going on holiday, are you going somewhere nice? I like to go skiing in January but we have to give it a miss this year.

Well the weekend is here folks and I find this is always the hardest time to stick to the diet. Hubby likes his food and booze but doesn't like to eat and drink alone, consequently he keeps giving me glasses of wine, chocolate bars. I'm determined to lose weight so will resist temptation, well I'll try to:)
Anyone else struggle at the weekend?0 -
Im struggling too - though I think Ive managed to lose 3lbs in the last few weeks - which is good really, but Im one of those aggravating people who needs to see weight fly off first of all to keep going !!!!
Mind you - Ive been working full time lately,so by the time Ive fed the horse and got home its pitch black and Im not really ready for much other than sleep - really need to get that kicked into touch!!
I WILL get there though....Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -
