:TCongratulations to everyone who lost weight or STS. I managed to lose 1lb which although a bit disappointing is still a loss and this time last week I'd put on 1lb so I suppose in reality I've lost 2lb.
Onwards and upwards girls we can do this.:T0 -

Maldives Lover, a loss is indeed a loss and you should be proud!! Well done

bouldtj, that's fab going, just small changes can make such a difference! Keep up the good work.
I'm going to use the stairs more often too; usually when I'm with colleagues I use the lift.
I used to work on a really high floor and always took the stairs ('coincidentally' I was also much slimmer back then lol).
Curves was fab! I took part in a class and am feeling a little stiff today but not too bad. I'm going back this evening after work, I'm just feeling so motivated atm!!! I have been very good foodwise, since the Binning Of The Biscuits I haven't replaced them and am not really in the mood for junk. I'm also drinking gallons of herbal tea and filling up on fruit.
I'm really super determined to shift some weight before hols. I tried to put myself 5 weeks into the future yesterday and imagined how gutted I'd feel going away if I hadn't lost anything. That spurred me on, as did the skinny photo. I so want to be that slim happy girl again. I want to enjoy trying on clothes and getting dressed. I want to feel excited at the thought of a night out (instead of last Saturday when I almost cried at the sight of myself in the mirror and nothing nice would fit me). I want to feel energetic (instead of lumpy and heavy). I used to really like my body and have a great self-image, and that is more important than all the biscuits and chocolate bars in the world surely!
So wish me luck girls xoxoxoGet to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

@tara ..............definitely keep your hols in mind as a short term goal. Glad you enjoyed Curves.
I felt very lumpy lying by the pool and it's not a nice feeling! The only way I got away with it was that there are lots of oldies away this time, so there was less competition! Certainly won't be the same for my summer hols; swimwear and looking good in nice clothes is a good driver for me. Also as you say, the pleasure of shopping/dressing up for an occasion is so much greater when you're the shape/size you want to be.
The dress............hmm! It is a very forgiving and flattering style in a very forgiving fabric, BUT it is tight to zip up and I just feel heavy right now. I am very cross that my Autumn/Winter lapses have shunted me back to where I am now..........were those transient pleasures of shovelling in wine and chocs worth it? Actually NO!
I am making a supreme effort for the next 2 weeks and will do my best as I really want to wear it. I have 28 days to return it, so will see how I go and look out for an alternative just in case! xxxx Fingers crossedxxxx
PS Your apts look lovely!0 -

Do they?
I am so looking forward to it now, I really can't wait for some sunshine.
You are so right, it's vital to keep focused and I am going to think about myself in swimwear every time I am tempted to eat something bad or skip an exercise session. As you say, the transient pleasures are not worth it!
I had another class at Curves yesterday evening, it was fab. My arms and stomach are really feeling it today, will go back this evening but focus on legs this time. It's open on Saturday mornings so I will squeeze in another session tomorrow if I can.

Urgh. A colleague just handed out some birthday cake (coffee and walnut, for the record) and I had a piece. Now I feel ill - really bloated and my head is starting to hurt.
But I am looking at the positives. A few days off the chocolate really does work wonders! Now I need to go to Curves and burn it off, then go home and eat a healthy dinner, try on some holiday clothes for motivation and get myself back on track!Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

Right, I'm back again - I just can't seem to do this at the moment - SOOOO frustrating, I lose 1lb then put on 2 etc etc. From Monday THAT IS IT though, will weigh myself and STICK to a plan!!! :jThe secret to creativity is knowing how to hide your sources.
