Well done to everyone who completed the previous challenges :j, and a warm welcome to all newcomers! (if I forget to put you on the first page list - nag at me until I do :rotfl:, oh and you don't have to let anyone know your starting weight unless you really want to!)

Here goes for another half stone challenge! Don't think of how much you'd like/need to lose, just focus on losing those 7lbs for Christmas/January! See, it doesn't seem so bad, does it :D

This is a useful site for tracking your weight, food etc

http://caloriecount.about.com/cc/account/index.php

You set up your own target by inputting weight, height, how active your lifestyle is, and any medical conditions. Then each day you keep a food diary by inputting what you eat, and also an activity log. The site works out your calories for input (food) and output (activity). The idea is that you keep the input between 500 and 1000 cals below the output, but without dropping below the minimum food cals set by the site for your lifestyle etc. And best of all the calorie count site is free!

If you're interested sign up here and lets help each other :T

Remember - It's 2010/2011 and there is no more IF but WHEN!!! into "soon be in 7th Heaven :D"

Christmas into January's 7 lb club members

1. The Dragon (328 lb *sniff) - 6 lb
2. Tara747 (142.6 lb)
3. Bronnie - 2 lb
4. trudij - 3 lb
5. bluebellbunny
6. coco1980 -2 lb
7. boultdj -6.5 lb
8. skintscotslass
9. Maldives lover - 5 lb

Group total loss 1 stone and 8.5 pounds :D - post Christmas and New Year so any losses are good LOL

    Good for you!

I am determined not to pile on weight this winter as in previous years, leaving myself with a mountain to climb in Spring.

I have lost half a stone this autumn and in an ideal world have about 10lbs to lose to get to where I would really like to be for next summer's beach hols, but am taking the scenic route so will dip in and out of your thread!

  • Hi Dragon, thanks for the link, it's a bit lonely round here these days though isn't it?! Did everybody get to their ideal weights while I had my eye off the ball??? You can count me in the challenge but I am not going to start until end of December if that's ok?

I think the fact that I didn't run this for a few months scared every one off :o, this one is a jump in when you like thread, just to get people started off again so starting in January is fine, just don't over do it at Yule!!

I was feeling quite good this morning - got up early, watched the horse I want to send my horse to come last in his race in Hong Kong (much to my amusement - greedy owners retired him then decided to run him!!) went over to feed Red and picked up 3 heaped wheelbarrow fuls of poo (trying to catch up from the snow!) then took the dog (I have two,but one couldnt be bothered to get up this morngin!) for a longish walk on the way home....

then I did some housework, had lunch and have kinda ground to a halt now !!!

Still - Im sure the 3 barrows and the longish walk must count for something - its more than we usually do !!!
