yes i can , i got the email to confirm my address several days ago, and can log into my EDF account, its very bare , it jsut gives you your dates of switching, but no contract number only your acount number !!

Doesnt say nothing about saver 7 either ???
  • How do EDF send bills out then if you can't register for an online account? By post or email? I like to keep track of my account on a monthly basis and don't want to find I'm still on a standard rate in January or I'm £100 in arrears.

All I could see in the T&C's was 'at least one bill a year. Again, I can't believe that to be the case. With the online system flaky to say the least, I would expect a quarterly bill.

I had high hopes for EDF but so far it has been a shambles and a back of a fag packet operation .

I think over time, I have probably done all the big 6 and OVO. It should be the simplest thing in the world.

    Set up Account......Meter reading....bill......pay.

None of them can do it. Truly amazing.
  • I'll ring them up Monday and ask because I don't want to go a year and find a massive bill waiting for me!
  • I still don't have this email which makes me think im still on standard tariff, The price, The Cashback, The Customer Service. They are all great.

However it seems were quite unprepared for all these questions i.e backfoot who has been nothing short of relentless to EDF to which I am greatful. My biggest worries is why cannot I get into my online account and this issue with standard tariff I think a phone call is needed.

Are customer numbers exceeding them to which they were not expecting ? what is going on.

If you look at para 3 of the terms it says:

"By signing up to Online Saver Version 7 and providing an email address you agree to be transferred to paperless billing once it becomes available. We will give you notice and relevant details when they become available."

Which makes me think that it won't be available to all just yet.
