On mine the electric went over first and this just showed as electric on the on-line account !a week later gas was shown on my on-line account both as online S@ver 7 .
The only "welcome to EDF" I have recieved is through the messages on the on-line account with EDF and that just referred to my electric.
Still states awaiting meter readings which I have given them ?0 -
Thanks Jack, hope that's the case with me, just seemed weird that I've had no mention of the Gas account!!0

I got a call from EDF today when I was out, I should have switched to them by now but apparently there is a problem of some sort so could I call them.
Rang the supplied freephone number and listened to 20 minutes of music before I decided I had better things to do.
Not a promising start.0 -
Just had a email from EDF telling me log into my account and it seems my Gas will switch on the 14th of this month !
Welcome pack for the gas is now in my messages on my on-line account so it seems I am now with EDF .
Just waiting for Quidco to move from tracked to validated hopefully0 -

jack i received the same email last night , went into my edf online account and theres another welcome pack email in there , it doesnt state that its for gas or electric , i can only presume you get one for each as ihave x2 now ?
However it still requests "meter readings" for both gas and electric.
Ah well lets see what happens next eh
ps.... quidco still states , "waiting for EDF to agree cashback query"0 -
cbrpaul the only reference to indicate it is the gas is that the welcome letter states "you will get accurate bills from the start if you give us your gas meter readings now "
The same wording was used for the electricity change in the welcome pack viewable on my on-line account
Edit
Changed to gas meter readings0 -
got it , thx jack ,
Im sure when i looked in my messages before it was jsut EDF welcome brochure , now i have letters from them with the confirmed dates ,
Electric was 5 days late going over and Gas is 7 days late in going over,
Also in my "submitt readings" section i have gas being stated as " standard" , is that "standard tarrif " ?? i have no wording that i can see of online saver 7 dual fuel , do you have the same jack ?
Worrying to say the least:mad:

Just been on the phone to EDF and Moneysupermarket.com. MS confirmed I had requested a dual fuel swap, EDF could only see electric on their system...
EDF rang back to get me to ring MS, which I had already done, MS are ringing EDF to see where the communication breakdown occurred. They both assured me it would be sorted and the £100 deal would still stand!
Time will tell......
Luckily I live 10 minutes from EDFs offices, so I can go and bang some heads together if required!!0 -
cbrpau yes it says standard on the page where you submit your your meter reading
On the account details page its says Online S@ver v7 Electricity
Online S@ver v7 Gas but at first did not have anything indicating what account you had as it was blank
I presume the standard means the gas is supplied by transco pipes but not sure
Edit
http://www.moneysupermarket.com/gas-and-electricity/meters/ I wonder if they mean this that the meter is of a standard type0
