I did read somewhere Paul that it will be standard tariff initially then moved to Online 7.
Have now submitted gas reading and electric reading last week, so suppose am now a bona fide customer. The Normans have landed.

Had another go at phoning them but really I can't take that music for more than 20 minutes at a time.0

I had it on speaker phone for 1.5 hours last night.. the cat started screaming and walked out!! I got through in 10 minutes this morning but all I could hear were staff laughing and people talking, I think someone picked up the call and then went to the loo. I called again 30 minutes later and got through in about 5 minutes and spoke to a helpful guy called Tim, he actually rang me back later to advise me what was going on.
Oh the joys of EDF!0 -
Just had a phone call from EDF in response to the complaint e-mail I sent a couple of days ago.
EDF were able to confirm my switch had gone through with the correct opening reading. Also had confirmed DD set up, seems there was some sort of problem previously but did a re-setup and now all OK.
On-line system will not be available and not able to say when it will be, but will e-mail me when ready.
So am 'fairly' happy now I know that everything is set up, but not overjoyed that an on-line tariff has no functionality.
Once I get all my bribes I'll probably bail out to another supplier if there's one with a good rate.0 -
We are also having problems with EDF !!! they only switched our electric and say they are unable to switch gas, listened to awfull music for 25 minutes and still waiting for an explaination as they promised they would call me. To add insult my cooling off period has expired , so have emailed them to leave me where i was with scottish power who knows what will happen !!!!!!:mad:0

I just called and the rep I had was great he calculated my bill to date and explained that the contracts are getting switched to the online account at random due to the system switch over.
£45 Gas from the 3rd of december. I am quite pleased with that considering I cook and heat my house with gas. Elec was much higher at £95 and thats from the 21st of November.They have alos credited my account with the £100 already so Im £80 odd in credit. Glad to hear something positive for a change ! I have always found the call centre staff quite good to be honest0
