Same here submitted electricity reading but still says awaiting reading !I phoned up and they confirmed the reading to me which was correct
Now says awaiting gas reading which does not change for a few days yet and I am not able to enter a gas reading yet into the EDF on-line system .
SP on-line account says that I am unable to log into my old account with them but shortly will be able to log into my final account bill .
Quidco still showing as tracked but not validated yet getting a bit nervous about Quidco

I am sorry the advisor told you that you could sign up to the online account in a couple of days time, as this is not the case. I can assure you this will be addressed with their manager, to ensure they are only providing accurate information in future.

Am I the only one thinking that email reply reflects really badly on the way EDF is managed? Not 'we will be ensuring our staff are aware of the correct process', or even 'we have arranged for training for the member of staff concerned'.

Rather the email reads to me 'yep, we've caught them, grassed them up to their boss, they will be brought down a peg or two'.

It's rubbish that they gave bad advice but the apology mail reads ok to me. :)
  • Have to say after all this fannying about I've had to do to even get my online account to work and looonggg wait to get through to a human on the phone, I really hope that £100 welcome bonus does come through. Not totally sure I would stay with these for any length of time (not that I do anyway, being a serial switcher, lol).

Didn't they tell you it was an intermittent supply ? It's cheaper because it comes across the Channel on Ferries but sometimes it runs out before it's delivered. :D
