all the well wishes worked, my car passed and without any advisories. Darn well should do though as i've done almost every major job in the past 18mths - 2 yrs cept the clutch.
didn't get to mooch around town but sent OH in. Saved me some money anyway which is always good.
blood donation went well, gave my bit for the good people who may need it. 'twas my 12th donation, not a huge amount for someone my age but it was the one new years resolution that i've kept.
Nearly the end of my holiday :( Mr LT goes back to work on Sunday which is really mean of them, specially as that's going to be the nicest day weather wise of the whole week, law of s0d coming into play i guess.
Chev i've got my 7lb boxes ready to colour in as i lose the weight. I'll have lots of practice trying to keep within the lines as there's a lot of them.

Mr LT managed once, one of the guys there went OTT and freaked him out and we ended up with an ambulance because he thought he had palpatations. Was just someone winding him up though... i know i sound harsh but he's a lot like a child when it comes to illness, if you don't let him build it all up then it amounts to nothing.

vl i would never have a go at anyone who doesn't donate. I was like that for ages but then decided it was my turn to pay it back, considering all four of my parents have had to have transfusions at one stage or another. Plus when i first joined here i had to stop my charity donations to try and balance the books so this was another way to enable me to help others without it costing money.

trying to get myself set for going back to work tomorrow :( Mr LT has gone back today for a 12hr shift which really sucks and is just so not fair. but i guess that's life for ya.

Mr LT got paid on friday and i get paid next week, as i had to do his money i took the opportunity to do mine even though i'm unsure of my pay as i've not got a payslip yet.

It looks like Norbert will be standing at £798.80 :T :T it really looks that if i don't spend money on the CC this month coming then i won't have to divert money in that direction that i will be able to clear this loan early August. Yay!!
When i look at my records i should have 12 more payments after this month so it looks like i'll be paying it off 11/12 months early which is wonderful. I've managed to save £3k in 15 months which is fairly respectable. Actually thinking about it i also saved the £2k that we spent on the double glazing so that would have been £5k in 15 months. i would never expect to have been doing anything like that.

Bank of M&D loan will stand at £5600

On the non MSE diet front i lost 11lb this week which i'm so happy with. I get in pretty horrible circles with my weight and this has really made me smile. I've never lost so much weight at one go. I know this was water weight as my feet, ankles and calves are now pretty much water free, it's amazing how liberating that simple thing is, it has really restricted what i've been able to do in life so opens up more opportunities for me.

Mr LT and i went for a lovely long walk at the sea yesterday ending up in the amusement arcade (Mr LT loves them) and i WON £29!!!!! We used that to treat ourselves to a lovely meal out which was wonderful. I picked wisely but also considered that fact that when i'm buying a special meal out i like to order something i'll really enjoy. I'm back to the diet straight away today and didn't go off it last night when we got home which is what i would have usually done.

I really struggle when Mr LT is doing a 12 hour shift on a sunday, i seem to end up eating my way through the day and i'm determined that it's going to stop.

we've finally got the sun we've been promised, i had doubted it when i first got up so i'm a bit on the drag on the laundry front but i've started the ball rolling now so that's good.
