Yes, thought so about the allotments - bunch of busybodies on those sort of sites. Might be worth checking out your local council to see if they have any sites, and ask about a half plot perhaps?

Don't blame you for not wanting the hassle of changing Doctors either - they don't make any effort at all to make it easy, do they!

we certainly haven't ruled out having another allotment EH but at the moment i think we just can't dedicate enough time. There's not many council sites around here, and those they haven't don't have water which would just about make things nigh on impossible. We did have a half plot but at 39x25ft it was too big for the time we had.

Hi Pippi, we've got lots of pots in the garden which now boast a combi of flowers and food. We're also currently getting a shed load of rain which will keep them happy. boy is it a change from little over a week ago.

Not much changed financially here at the moment:
credit card money left bank as planned, and is showing on the statement but not on the available balance which is strange.
I'm waiting for some credits for some returned goods to go on there which i'm hoping make it onto this statement but i think they'll draw it up either tomorrow or today. They weren't on there last night. :(
I've been holding out for a new statement before i fill my car up with petrol but the light is now on so i must fill up tonight. Just have to see what side of the date line it falls.
This is the only problem i've found with my CC i'm not quite sure when the statement date is as it keeps moving, and they take the payment about the 10th which is too late but too early as well if you get my drift.

Had some more toiletry in's yesterday from Avon so starting to doubt i'll be able to reduce my stash by a net 50 products by next year. It's actually going up at the moment :(

Sold something at work recently, only a tenner but it all helps. I'll transfer the money across to the Norbert savings tonight.

Can you write to the CC company and ask them to clarify when your statement date is LT? If they keep moving the statement date, but leave the payment date the same, that means they are changing the standard interest free period you get each month if you pay off in full and I don't know that wouldn't need to be changed in writing as it forms part of the T's & C's if you know what I mean? I know I'm safe for anything after the 14th to go onto the next statement - oddly enough there is nearly always a tank of fuel for each car within a few days of that date....! :rotfl:

Good on you for buying the Avon stuff - remember, each time you buy from your Avon lady you're helping a local small business blossom......! :pI'm not biased at all, honest.....!

thanks all, think i may just ring them up for the statement day. It's so annoying not knowing what date it will be run on, there should be no excuse really as it's done by puters so they don't sleep on weekends.
Money has been moved against Norbert which brings the balance down to £1424 :)

EH my avon lady has the perfect sales pitch, she leave them in the ladies toilet at work and waits for us to email her. It seems to work and there's a lot of potential customers that she doesn't really have to make much effort to get to.

LT don't beat yourself up about the Avon stuff, sometimes its nice to treat yourself to stuff you actually want. I'm using up stuff at the moment and when you're using something you don't like I think it puts you off. I've decided I'll use the bodywash etc I don't particularly like as sink, bath and shower cleaner.
