then travelled to the next nearest branch where the discounts weren't as good. But i did managed to get another 3 packs of the flooring with 20% off which was still better than i could have paid in Homebase. Planning on going tomorrow to B&Q to get a posh machine which cuts the flooring (for Mr LT) and see if i can get some scotia reduced. We WILL have the prettiest, most beautiful floor for the cheapest price i can achieve.
Once again really cheesed off with my doctors surgery. Rang up for my test result and was told i need to see the doctor, but they can't make future appointments so told me i had to ring 'out of hours' and trawl through the automated service. When i eventually got home i got a phone call from them saying they'd been trying to get me, as i need to see the Dr. Um i know! you've already told me this! anyway she offered to make me an appointment (told earlier that they couldn't do this!) and because i kept saying i needed a very late appointment because of work they suddenly admitted that they do a saturday surgery for folk like myself and i could have an appointment. So i'm off there tomorrow morning, guess i'm going on the tablets
wish i could make this diary more interesting but i guess i'm just a mundane, grey, boring old person.

Just tried the new Indian in the next door town, it was lovely food though we did wait ages for the takeaway, at least we were dry and in the warm though.0

You're not boring at all LT! Let's face it - you've been diagnosed TWICE with Type 2 diabetes which must mean you've now got Type 4 - which doesn't exist, so you're a medical miracle for a start! Seriously though you've done so well with what you've cleared, and you've just quietly got on and done it without making a fuss. Some people attract a crowd, some people don't, it's just a fact of life. Shame about the allotment - I assume it was a private allotment society rather than a council site? I think as a rule council sites are better as they have more important things to worry about than allotments so tend to leave you alone. The private sites tend to be run by chaps who have little left in their lives apart from the allotments, so they have the time and motivation to write these snotty letters. We're considering going for another one - got to check which ones our neighbours are on though as it would be useful for both parties if we could get on the same site.

hello everyone, you're much too kind to me. I have kept threatening to leave my Dr's practice but i'm too cowardly and would have to jump through hoops to get into another practice (i've already checked)
lovely to see you back around again catspaw.
it was a charitable trust allotment site EH, hence why they get all interfeery and inspect you all the time.
lol at having type 4 diabetes i could be a medical miracle now that's something to think about.
got to fill out some forms for work tonight, they want to know the ins and outs of a ducks backside! thank god i've been here for so long and got my act together or i could have ended up losing my job because of financial reasons not just because of the changes on the cards.0
