thanks everyone, blood tests went fine, but now have two holes in my arm, slightly more bruised than usual but it was a different person. The worst part was the lucozade, that stuff is just horrible! Will have to wait for results but I wasn't happy with my self stabbed sugar tests, just have to keep my fingers crossed.
I think i did spot on the 'puter screen that i have been referred to a specialist for another issue which is what i'd hoped for but it was only a sneaky peak at a distance so i could be wrong. I hope not though.

i got a letter today to make an appointment with the specialist so that's a good start. Though strangely enough i got butterflies in my stomach at the thought of having to make the appointment.

Had a bit of a panic today, got a phone call to say get to my parents asap as dad had fallen, wasn't looking good and the ambulance were on the way. Thankfully he's ok, but it was very scary. Turns out his blood pressure dropped because of the angina sprays and he fainted, hit his head, fitted a little but is thankfully ok. Trouble is with his other conditions it could very easily have been his heart or a stroke. We're just glad we have him still with us for a little while longer. He's certainly shaken us all up though.

Not good LT, I hope he is okay now (can they change his medication to stop it happening again?)

he's being frog marched to the Dr's during the week. They're always juggling with his meds but he doesn't always tell them the truth.

Phew - glad to hear that your Dad isn't too bad LT - really makes you think, doesn't it. Pleased also that things seem personally to be heading in the right direction for you personally. Get on and make that appointment first thing on Monday morning!!
