    Not so thorough with the before bit - more of a splosh it all on and hope for the best kind of decorator :)

    hi, sorry was still busy decorating. I could have sold the cobwebs here to the haunted house factory and made loads of money!

    I don't mind decorating but really suffer with my knees if i've been doing the skirtings and bottoms of walls. I certainly didn't look very lady like whilst doing them. We've almost finished now, just a couple of shelves to put up and a 'feature wall' to paint. Need to mix some white into an old can of paint (previous darkest colour) which is slightly too dark for the new decorations. It does look lovely though. Getting more and more serious about replacing the living room carpet with laminate flooring. May have a look in Focus at the weekend to see what they have in their closing down sale.

    Got my payslip today so can update next months numbers, all i can say is thank heavens it's payday on friday. Also i've finally been paid some travel expenses which will come in handy against my credit card bill.
    Means i should be able to pay £200 to Bank of M&D and £623 off Norbert. Not bad i guess but i could do better!
