my challenges basically boil down to the following:
    become debt free
    declutter the flat
lose a significant amount of weight
take part in the midnight walk
have a net decrease of 50 products from my current toiletries list (i currently have 191 items on my list!)

my goal is 17th May next year although i know that the weight one will be a challenge for a few years ahead.

A good list there LT. I would love to do the Midnight Walk, have always wanted to do this!

my sister did one in Ipswich this month, so i'm hoping to join her next year. Tis 8 miles which is more than i'm capable of at the moment, but should be achievable with work and with losing some weight.

That is a fab list LT - how much do you have to clear each month for your DFD? xx

the plan is to either pay off about £1k per month, or put it into my 8% saver (when i get to that stage in the plan) and then pay it off as a lump sum. Sounds complicated but my spreadsheet says it's possible. lol
Only really 2 debts left - Norbert which should go in Sept, and Bank of M&D which will go April/May next year.

Great list of stuff to focus on there LT - but just one question - where is the fun, frivolous stuff? You know, the things you do just for yourself or the two of you as a couple? Any places you'd love to visit maybe that you could add?

now that's something to think about EH, we've got to make lots of use of our new National trust cards.

Mr LT want's to go to Blackpool, which i'll have to organise. There's a coach trip which also includes a trip round Cadbury world on the way back. I guess i should get the Blackpool trip sorted tout sweet otherwise they'll have sold all the seats.

Our new furniture arrives on Monday so Mr LT has got rid of the old sofa bed, I'm sure i would have found someone interested on freecycle but he's broken it up and it's gone to the tip, at least it gets it out of the house/garden. We've decided to have a move round of all the furniture when we redecorate the living room, won't happen this weekend, but may have a go over the long weekend next weekend.

I would have started stripping paper this weekend but i've had to bring work home with me, there's so much madness going on in my diary at work i'm never going to achieve some deadlines so i've brought some home to do whilst Mr LT is working.

i know EH gets straight to the crux of the matter.
In the midst of my decorating weekend i did think that using up/reducing my toiltries will be something enjoyable for me to do as lots of them are really nice ones.
I had to do a recount of the toiletries, my spreadsheet had an error on it therefore i've increased my starting number to 199. I've now used up 3 of them so that's a good start.
Started decorating the living room over the weekend, really pleased with what i did, even though Mr LT appears to have done about the same in less time, but i've done all the cutting into the edges properly whereas he's left me to finish his side off properly.

    Hi LT

I always love the idea of decorating, but soon get bored of it!

I love decorating, but only the "fun" stuff. I hate the prep work and the deep clean you have to do first to make sure no spider webbs get painted into the wall.
