Just flying past (as I really should be working!) to offer virtual hugs, the offer of an ear to rant into if needed and to suggest a couple of nice deep breaths, a cup of tea and ginger nut! I'm sure things will look much improved after - or failing that, hopefully my suggestion would have brought a smile to your face. Failing that, take 15mins out - your time and do something that you enjoy (or to use a phrase from another thread "makes your heart sing!") Be it stood in the garden looking at the flowers or wathcing the birds to reading a few pages of your favourite book! Don't forget the good and enjoyable things in life - it is all too easy too! xstart = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225

I love a good plan - it may not work.... but I love a good plan!0 -

I'm sure everything is going to work out in the end but it will take some time. Have agreed in haste to doing some NLP and i'm starting to get a little worried.
That's bad timing LT xLBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)
Barclays: £2,928.34 Lloyds: £2,499.60
MBNA: £3,788.99 Overdraft: £1,900.00 Mum: £1,738.00
Surveys: £6.60/£40.000 -
lots of things are bad timing at the moment, but i'm sure it's just fluke or just the law of sod getting involved.
messed up my CC payment this month which is a bit of a !!!!!!, as it's probably going to screw up my spotless credit record even though the money was in the account on the day but not at 00.01 when they tried to take the payment. grrrrr!!!!!!!! my fault, but at least i've learnt that you have to get the money in the account the day before a payment rather than on the day. Hey ho.
it struck me today reading Woo's diary (i'm sure it was yours) that i'm 40 next year shhhh it's bloomin scary. And i need to be debt free before my birthday, so i effectively have 12 months to clear everything. It's possible, just another change of priorities over savings v paying off 0% debt.
So i have until May 2012 to clear:

That is blimmin harsh, can you speak to them about it?Weight loss: Start weight: 80kg; Current Weight: 77kg; Target weight: 55kg0

they are refunding one of their charges but the other will stand, haven't told me how much that one is though. Cynical me thinks it's probably the highest of the two charges. Oh did i say that???0

Can't help but be cynical in this world

as bad as me as i thought the same. hope the 'chat' with your mum goes as well as can be expected, same with the 'chat' with your sister:mad:
did they do the porch at the same time as the guttering?

tells you how bad it's been i hadn't factored in that it could have been a lot worse if i'd had to go as well!
Chev, no the porch is still on the verge of collapse, it's a bit different as 4 of us have to share the costs and therefore have to agree. We have 3 currently in agreement so just need to a/ find the 4th person and b/ get them to agree.
Chat with my mum didn't really happen too much because i'm still not ready to talk about it.
Things with my sister are still a little tense i'm sure we'll be fine. Have to admit i still haven't forgiven her.0
