So annoyed at school...am I over-reacting??

I would be fuming if this had happened in our school, (it never would though) I saved hard and bought my sons a wii last year as my eldest gave up his much loved dummy (call it blackmail if you like ) should he stand in front of the whole school and brag ?

Its got nothing to do with the school what reward anyones kids are given, why did they even feel it was ok ? If the school had offered it as an incentive I could see the point of it.

As an aside, our head teacher has always made the point that if any parent disagrees with something the school have done they should go straight to her rather than sounding each other out, chinese whisper can turn even the slightest thing into a full blown drama !
