There is NO 8 digit contract number in the welcome letter as anyone who has received it will verify.
Well, I got an 8 digit number with my letter so it seems that things may have changed.

There was no number with the email however.

I received no email at all when I signed up.

My welcome letter arrived yesterday, approximately a week after signing up.

There is no 8 digit contract number in the letter, as BargainMad says above.

Just a 12 digit Contract Account Number.

    Hello tortoise

How long ago did you switch? Do you have a 12 digit account number as well?
  • Signed up via Quidco on Monday and was tracked by Quidco in about 3 hours !I received a confirmation email from EDF almost immediately saying I would receive confirmation by post .

No account number given on the email confirmation

    Hope it helps

    Please ignore!

Awww, Do you really mean ignore Jack Spratt?

Jack Spratt is right - there is no 8 digit contract number on either the email or letter. As all of us who have applied recently have found. Arrghh !

But it seems in the very recent past this 8 digit number was given - as other people have said.

We are only trying to support each other as Quidco are asking for this number to support the untracked transactions and it is very frustrating if it isn't there anymore. :o

Sorry I never did answer this. I signed up 29 October and got an 8 digit contract number by post a week later. I now have 13 digit account numbers.

That makes sense now !! :rotfl:

I am sure they meant ignore their request rather than ignore your valid point about the numbers :)

In a way I am "relieved" that the EDF offer is no longer on quidco because I think they will have quite a few that did not track and they can now concentrate their efforts on correcting these. If the offer had run throughout December, there would have been a risk of even more in the same boat.
