If I "get away with this", should I wipe my bum with it and post it back to them?

Not advised, PasturesNew... Brown Mail is illegal ;/

This is an vaguely interesting house related article people might actually like reading http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1366480/Half-house-better-At-just-7ft-wide-smallest-homes-Britain-goes-sale.html but which is not worth its own thread.

:rotfl: The threshold of what is worth its own thread is fairly low on here.

Was going to say surely there can't be more than 1 7 foot house and there is already a thread.

Not sure I would use a parking fee notice for that purpose anyway - especially if it is now covered in under bed fluff...

I guess with the nuclear info thing there is the thought re what are the authorities incentives - given that they can not really move the entire population of Tokyo the incentive must be to reassure whatever the situation and hence why it is hard to trust what is being said - especially as there don't seem to be categorical denials that there is any risk or published radiation monitoring readings from the areas affected.

I'm not sure I buy this it isn't a nuclear explosion line - firstly a strong fire w(hich seems to be what happens when the fuel rods are exposed) seems to have the ability to put nuclear material in to the atmospheree - especially when coupled with steam and gas explosions plus if the fuel casings do burn off what is to stop all the fuel melting and falling to the bottom of the reactor in a lump big enough to restart the fission reaction. :9
    I think....

Kudos to all nice people for their supporting PN. :)

Reading through the last page or 2 & seeing how everyone rallied to support, giving evidence for why they were supporting, & being all round encouraging reminds me why I come here!

Good luck PN!:) I agree with everyone else.

    I love tomterm's suggestion regarding the video!:D

Well done everyone. Faith in humanity is a good thing.

Anyone who has done the census phone interview - any tips?

Michaels, I had a telephone interview. They said it'd take 15 mins. It took 5.

I got asked a series of yes/no questions.

I was then asked to give an example of how I worked as part of a team. After 4 mins of wibbling by me, the guy stopped me & said he had enough info.

    I got the post!

I've now done the online training & am booked for the half day classroom training next week. I have my conditional offer too. I've sent off my ID docs. Just waiting on confirmation, & will start next month.

on't know whether you're going for a different post to me though - I've just gone for a census collector post, as it fits in with everything else.

PM me if anything isn't clear.:)

I never understand that question. I'd not know how to answer it. Not sure I've ever worked in what people'd call a team .... it's some new fangled word. Years ago we just worked hard, to do our jobs properly, to keep our jobs.

    Mumbo jumbo.

So, my answer would have to be: Dunno, what's a team? What's an example of working in a team?

    No idea!

The judge would order disclosure of documents, BUT, when you get to court if you do it through the civil procedure rules there is a clause that allows them to charge you for the costs of disclosure.

I'll PM you, as I'm interested, but I don't think anyone else is.

No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Once it all got "legal" I must admit to completely having no idea what you're both on about to be honest.... I just thanked the posts anyway.

All I actually understand at the moment is: do nothing.
