Hi everyone, I've not posted on here in a while!

I have been religiously putting my silvers in my pot though, last week I managed nearly £10 (!) in total and this week it's been about £4. 30p in this morning. She's getting heavier but still only looks 2/3 full. I have a new goal in life and that is to fill her up in the next 2 months and then start from scratch and have her full again by the 1 Dec! Wonder if I can do it?!!! Might be a bit ambitious!

blue eyed girl - very sorry for your loss, I know it must be a difficult time for you.

I hope everyone enjoys the long weekend, even if you are unlucky and have to work... it's a very grey, gloomy and drizzly day here today so quite happy pottering about inside catching up on chores etc (not that posting on here is a chore!)

Afternoon folks and I hope you're having a good day
I was sitting in the car yesterday and noticed a woman crossing the road beside me and she must have spotted a 5p lying there - she struggles to pick it up and just about got herself run over by an oncoming car - the lengths some people will go to - could she be a member of the SPC I wonder

Tweren't me blue_eyed_girl....but I'm sure that was my 5p she was after! Damn woman … I'll strike her off the list whoever she is!! :rotfl::rotfl:

Take note folks: I'm bringing in an SPC code of honour and first on the list would have to be "you scratch my patch and I'll scratch yours……a damn sight harder"! :rotfl:

All the best with your wish v80sgirl, you still plenty of time hopefully.

maganan, in many ways it doesn't matter whether it's a person or a dog where illness is concerned, it's what's the person/dog means to you that's first and foremost. I do hope she recovers well very soon.

You save by Bonjour Elmo I say Guten Tag which is "How Do" in anyone's language. Good for you with the savings.:)

Awww Cazzie, I do so hope next week will be a lot better one for you then this last. Still, so long as you can come on here and have a chuckle with the family then that has to be a good thing, by 'eck we must be good. ;)
Off to search old bags, etc. This is a bit addictive.

No, no, no, no parsniphead … It really isn't on to be searching all bags - in fact its totally against the law!!! :rotfl:

Go for it Lee-anne, and with a bit of luck you'll achieve your dream. You enjoy your weekend as well, like you, it's very gloomy, cloudy
and drizzly here in Somerset though it's probably tipping it down further up! :(

Brilliant news Jackie's!! You've done wonderfully well even if you haven't been coming to the thread, just keep right on saving that's all we ask! :T

Enjoy a relaxing Saturday folks and look forward to another 2 great days off, but should you be unlucky and are working -we'll be thinking of you - honest!

Ooops! Almost forgot to put today's Pot money £1.77.

    Sue x

    good afternoooooooooon everyone :D

a wonderful 38p into my pot today, oooo i love it when ive got loose change its almost as exciting as when the postman turns up (that poor man must think im his stalker as im always 'conveniently' by the front door when he makes his rounds)

Mr jakesmum has just popped another £6 into his 'No smoking, im going on holiday' tin. I think he's getting excited now as he's started to pick it up and shake it every time its potting day, I also think its hitting home how much he was spending on his fags. I'm wondering how long it will take for the penny to drop (dont worry if it does i'll pick it up and pot it :D) and for him to realise i'm purposefully giving him each £6 in £1 coins to make the tin heavier quicker to keep him away from the death sticks :rotfl:

ahh my craftiness knows no bounds!
