You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 3 of page 1. Please read through post 1as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge. Please pop your number on your sig, it helps so very much

Doubtful Guest, thanks for getting back to me, it's good to know you're now part of our great team? Most of us tell the others what we've saved as we put it in (it's a great incentive to us all) - but - we then forget it until we count it all up in December, that way it's still a great surprise. :)

Enjoy that excitement skilly...any hour now! :j

    Very well done GRB...

    ...you too Willow!:j

Lovely to see you again, ruby, all the best in saving as much as is possible.

Very sad news blue_eyed_girl, my sincere commiserations to you and his/her loved ones.

    hi all hope everyones ok

My sealed pot, well a metal money tin, was full, couldn't eek anymore in despite shaking full, so with the tin opener we got in there and found there was £70.85 very pleased cos that means £60.00 in the building society tomorrow a welcome boost having limped to the end of the month as the dog needed surgery (cancer) and my emergency fund is down to £2.20. I know she's only a dog and others have far worse to deal with but we love her and had to have the older one put down earlier in the year :(

Anyway thank you so much for the challenge, hardly anything has gone in this month but still there is bankable money from small change I've not missed and both my daughters have bought me new tins to carry on for christmas!

:hello: Thanks for all your kind words everyone - very much appreciated.

Nothing to pot at the moment - things have got to get better.

I was sitting in the car yesterday and noticed a woman crossing the road beside me and she must have spotted a 5p lying there - she struggles to pick it up and just about got herself run over by an oncoming car - the lengths some people will go to - could she be a member of the SPC I wonder :D I'm hopeless at this roadkill thing - will have to get some lessons from our sparky when he returns from his hols.

Managing to get back on track FM (most of the time anyway) :D I'm on the NEW THRIFTY GIFTY GIRLS WEIGHT LOSS thread 2011 - nice little group to share stuff with and chivvy each other along - why not check it out - I'm sure there will be room for another little one :rotfl:

Well enjoy your weekend everyone whatever you are doing.

    Morning all,

Just wanted to say thank you for all of your highly entertaining posts - I've had a lousy week, but when I come on here and read your comical tales of the lengths you or other people have gone to to capture that all-important roadkill, I can't help but chuckle, and all my troubles disappear for just a moment. It really is like a little family on here, and every time I drop by, it feels like a giant hug from all my fellow potting buddies. Just wanted to say thanks!

Nothing potted for me yesterday as I am currently away from my pot :( But fear not - when we are reunited, I shall be feeding it lots of tasty treats!

Enjoy the long weekend, potters! Try not to put yourselves too much at risk in pursuit of roadkill (ooh, I feel a movie coming on - 'In Pursuit Of Roadkill' - hee hee! Now where did Sparky say he'd gone on 'holiday'!?) x :)
