I am now at the point where I have paid the big horrible bills from the start of the year so I don't plan to take any more money out of my pot for the rest of the year. I am so sure that yesterday I went and bought a "sealed" sealed pot. Need a tin opener to get it open. Thank you to everyone who persuaded me to stay, I am so glad I did. Things will be good now

Awwww.. I couldn't have done a better job of the No meself elsiepac! It's good to have folk feel at home straight away so I'm so pleased you do too. One slight hiccup though as we have LC problems here; above is Little Chicken who is LC, then there's lucky charlie who is "LC 2" (are you getting the picture?) then we have Elsie (something or other) who is affectionately called "Our Elsie" :smileyhea Those are all the Elsie or LC clashes though so maybe you'd like to be referred to as "elsie p" or simply "elsie"? You come up with the name you wish, that's most important.
Well done bargainlover, you too skilly.
Ohhh dear LC and what a rotten shame! I wondered where the devil you'd got to, but thought you were perhaps on holiday...forgive me for such an assumption! I use FF too and will be on the alert in case they try to shove me off!!! Come on just as often as you can LC, we'll miss just far too much if you don't.
BTW.....where are you LC 2?????? You're AWOL and it ain't good, we miss you far too much.
I'm so pleased you're sticking with us, Gap, though I'd never have given permission for you to buzz off.....whatever next!! All that time and you never had a ........Sealed Pot??????? I'm utterly spokeless!!!!! .......and that don't happen often, I assure you.:happylove
I might see you later on folks, til then stay safe and saving.

Just checking in to see how everyones doing. Called into Mr. A's just before 4.00 and got a basketful of goodies for about a fiver - plenty of those 'extra special' items for meals during the week. DH will think we have won the lottery - then the penny will drop that we don't do it
Stayed away from the cake aisle FM as the temptation may have been too much to bear although we did put some Extra Special Olive/Mozerella bread in (won't be as good though with low fat spread instead of butter)
Will put £4 into the pot in view of making the above 'savings'.
Hi LadyMorticia - welcome to the our madhouse. Sue will probably be along later to welcome you properly and do all the official stuff. Happy Potting.
Hope you've all had a good weekend.SPC NO 041STARTED SW 04/14 - TARGET 05/16 - TOTAL LOSS 10ST 3.5LBS :dance:0 -

Hello
...
A grand total of 70p for Mr. Tumble this week. Well I suppose it's better than a poke in the eye, and a punch in the nose :rotfl:
:rotfl:. I'm secretly hoping, next week's a better week for the pot
. Maybe the magical coin fairy will shower it's joy towards my pot. NOW THAT'S SOME WISHFUL THINKING RIGHT THERE
.
Hope you've all had a good day potting .😇 Sealed Pot Challenge: Member No: 20: 2012 = £92.14; 2013 = £45.27; 2014 = £54.70; 2015 = ; 2016 = £70.38 2022 = £10.58 2023 = ???? 🍀 2023 DECLUTTERING CAMPAIGN Mrs SD 65/365 so far. 👾 The Other Way, or the MSE Way: My Personal Challenge 🍀 The Other Way, or the MSE Way: My Personal Challenge 20120 -
I'm just popping in to say 'Hi' as it is so long since I have said anything and that seems most appropriate ha ha.
My pot is seriously lacking in those coins at the moment, but I am trying my best and will keep popping things in it whenever I can
Hope everyone has a fantastic week xChallenge savings 2010-2016 £1564.60:j
