Evening fellow potters...I am sad to report that my pot has been raided by OH for carpark change and a few £10 notes...Grrrr...I need a better pot. I had a Royal wedding biscuit tin sealed with sellotape...any good ideas for a better more sturdy pot anyone? I am rubbish at papier mache so a bit more simple would be good ;) Thanks all...I just put in 13p from my purse to restart the tin...

What about one of the tins from poundland, you cant get into it. :)

  • afternoon all,
wow its been a while since i posted in here.

just thought i would post a quick update,
i was originally saving up for an ipad but at the weekend i broke my sealed pot and counted up all the cash.
i have since put it in the bank and its now going towards to my CC debt.

as i mentioned i did want to treat myself but i honestly am determined to pay this CC debt off in a few months.
i did manage to save a total of £264.73 since around January time, so that should hopefully bring my CC to around £1180 once i make the payment.

i will be sealing it back up and starting to add cash again, as its a great place to put all my loose change and not spend it on rubbish.
so heres to my sealed pot challenge part 2!

i will try and post here more often this time:).

finally, hope all is keeping well, and lets hope for some nice weather again soon!!:D
