so my sisters order was cancelled at 3pm yesterday afternoon. its just turned up on their doorstep!!
You're so very special, I wish I was special

  • !!!!!! - I've got my Tesco delivery from 3-5pm today (yes that's right just 13 minutes left for them to deliver). No phone calls or texts. I'll be really annoyed if they've cancelled as there's no bloody snow here in Milton Keynes so they've got no excuse!!! >:(
  • Surprise Surprise. My Tesco delivery didn't turn up. The call centre guy said he'd call me back. Just got off phone, apparently my "delivery store" has cancelled ALL deliveries for today. Don't see why, no bloody snow here. But have it re-scheduled for tomorrow now...Better bloody come. N if i find out he's charged me for new delivery im going to be complaining like !!!!!! it!!!
  • I just called Tesco to save me waiting till late night, anyways, they called the store and my delivery will be here but might be early which I don't mind at all, I hope they haven't sold out of lots of it!!!!!!!!!!!

I was suppossed to have my shopping delivered yesterday by ASDA and it didn't turn up-i understand as the weather was bad-but what i don't understand is the lying:mad: I was told it will definitely turn up and not to worry-it didn't! Then today, they insisted they were sure it would still turn up-24 hours later.I explained that i understand about the weather, but I want the truth and not a bunch of lies-i was then told the driver tried to call as couldn't deliver as he was running late due to the snow and i'd need to rebook for saturday as my order is now cancelled.I asked for a refund, as if i didn't ask for the truth, i'd still be sitting here believing my shopping is on it's way.As i said, i understand it if they can't deliver, it's mad out there, but it's not fair to make people think it's going top turn up-when they know full well there is no way your getting it because it's cancelled-i will not be shopping on-line with them again!

  • My Tesco delivery that was booked for between 9pm and 11pm has just turned up, and only 3 subsitutions, can't grumble at that!
  • My Tesco shopping didn't turn up at all during the 8-10 pm slot :(. I got a text saying that they had to cancel it due to adverse weather conditions and to replace my order on the website when the conditions improve. The text was suppose to have arrived at 13:38 but I ended up getting it after midnight. Very helpful!

According to the website, it has been delivered ? I've tried phoning the Tesco.com grocery helpline and no reply! Rubbish! I need to phone tomorrow to make sure they don't charge me.

Here in Nottingham got a call from Sainsbury's at 8:30 this morning to say my delivery is cancelled (scheduled for 11-12 a.m.).

We did have loads of snow yesterday, but there has been plenty of other traffic about on my street so far this morning, and UPS are on schedule to make a delivery to us.
I understand, but I'm a bit annoyed. Conditions today much better than yesterday, and I really think they should try to offer another time (tomorrow?) at the time they ring to tell you they can't deliver.

I'm disabled, so can't do slippy pavements and so on. Fortunately, I'm not desperate for these things, but could have been.

I'm re-ordering for tomorrow, let's see what happens.
I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say. :)
  • I was expecting a delivery between 6-8pm from Asda last Sunday had no phone call to say order was cancelled, just didnt turn up, was half expecting it as snow was bad. Called customer services on Sunday night who told me they would redeliver on the Wednesday between 4-6pm and would defo call this time if it was cancelled, also recived £10 off order. Wednesday came and no order delivered again because of snow, also no phone call or email to say had been cancelled . After another call to customer services was told i could not pick it up from store or arrange a mutual collection point as stated on website. Not happy with Asda at the moment at all

I had a tesco booked for yesterday 10-12 and to be honest I was not expecting it to turn up especially when 12 come and went, but at 12.25 knock on the door. The driver couldnt have been more apologetic for being late all there only 1 substitution. I m in merseyside if that helps x
