    Evening All,

OH is out with his friend and i have no idea what to have for dinner!! Have priced up my shopping for the week ahead it's coming in at £24.75 which i am pleased about. Going to get up early and get the train to town for it - luckily i have bought a weekly train pass so won't cost me any extra.

Have meal planned for the entire month which i am happy with! Luckily we will be eating dinner round friends and family a lot over the coming weeks so i don't have to worry tooo much!

    Have a lovely evening all!

  • Hi Chums trying to sleet a bit here but no snow just yet .perishing cold though and my joints are very stiff tonight.Had a lovely dinner at Dds roast rib of beef and all the trimmings.eldest Dd popped down for a coffee this morning.Only have four more presents to buy then its time to start wrapping everything up.Decorations always go up on 1st december as its Dds birthday on 2nd and they have been going up the day before her birthday for almost 43 years.Youngest Dd comes round and climbs about on chairs for me and I just make the tea and 'supervise'.Uni tomorrow night and hopefully my essay is o.k.
i'm off to bed now as its getting decidedly chilly and its warmer in there than sitting up and putting the heating back on,not only that i have a library book I want to finishe off .night night all ,god bless all here

  • Hi Again!

Chicken will defrost overnight and I have put a dried soup/barley mix into water to soak overnight too. There are 7 chicken smallish portions and have decided to dust in flour and fry chicken off till brown for a few minutes then transfer to SC. Will fry onion in chicken pan and also add, then add soup mix, parsnips and mixed veg. Have a Coleman sauce to add. Might also mix in some butter beans...will see how it goes in the morning. I will be delegating so OH can help. Does that sound ok? Might add spuds into it then add dumplings later.
