Hi Guys:j:j:j
No snow here but its so cold. I hope everyone keeps warm, turns the heating up and stays safe. Hope Marie gets home too xx
We have just had the loveliest dinner in ages - all made from stuff that was lurking at the bottom of the fridge and cupboard. Plates were cleared and I am now full up. If I say so myself I couldnt have gone out for a meal and it tasted any better:T:T:T
So a day of sorting out laundry and slowly pottering. I have a busy week ahead with day case stays on Monday and friday, three doctors appointments on Tuesday and another on Thursday :eek::eek: I feel like telling them to bu**er off and leave me alone. I wont though as i really want to get better.
Hugs xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Our microwave went caput yesterday. Well, BF tried to defrost a frozen yorkshire and it went nuts, started making crazy zapping sounds and whole of the inside lit up bright white and flashing! Turned it off and haven't touched it since, but now I can't have porridge or reheat my hm frozen
It didn't have the mica cover on it, maybe that's why? Will have to talk to landlord, if worse comes to worst lidl have a nice combi micro in stock at my local for £45.
It sparks because there is metal in there somewhere. Did you switch it off as soon as you saw the sparks or was it left? You might not have fried the inside, try sticking in a microwavable bowl of water to test. I had sparks once with mine (due to a microscopic bit of foil I'd missed) and it survived but only because I switched if off straight away. Can I swap with you Csarina? please!
Hubby measured it and its approx 20 inches!!
Oh can I have it
A few pics to make you laugh. Not sure how I am gonna cope with this for a month.........

All will be well in the end. If it's not well, it's not the end.Be humble for you are made of earth. Be noble for you are made of stars0 -
You are so welcome to some snow - I can have the cat instead - he/she is lovely and your tree will have nothing left on it by next week never mind xmas!:DBitsy_Beans wrote: »It sparks because there is metal in there somewhere.
