Good morning everyone!
L-L hope your daughter feels better soon.
Bit chilly here in Bristol but we are often warmer than most places when snow strikes....we had a dusting and it's still on the grass but just icy at the moment. The Dolly cat loves playing with snow-she is still young!
Today we will be cooking a reduced bit of topside bought in Mr M when it was on special offer with all the trimmings.
House still a bit upside down after all the decorating, need to get things back where they belong. And do washing and dry it as I am between tumble dryers atm.
Take care and keep warm.

Can I just say JackieG I am really proud of you going to the meet yesterday, especially with your panic attacks. Took a lot of guts to suck it up and go so although it seems really trite well done to you

Morning peeps
just finishing my third cuppa before walking the woofaloes, i`m a tea pig this morning - not sure why, one or sometimes two cups is usually enough but not today.
The washing has just been hung on the airer upstairs and some of the rads and i`ve emptied the dishwasher, DH is already at work and its probably a good job as i can`t find the sausages that i asked him to take out of the freezer last night:cool: Think i`ll make him starve then its his own fault when he`s hungry.
I shall be off to work later, we have more snow forecast tonight so hopefully it will be in the early hours after i`ve got back home, its very icy and bitterly cold today. I need batteries for the outside sensor for the weather station as last night the reading was 8 degrees :rotfl: I`ll ask DH to pick some up tomorrow when he does the weekly shop.
Not sure whats for tea later now, we were having giant toad and veg with gravy, the puddings are huge and the rest of the meal fits nicely inside one but now that the sausages are unavailable i`ll need to rethink.
JackieO - I loved reading about your SIL`s birthday, glad that it all went well.
Looby loo - Hope that DD is on the mend
Right i need to wrap up warm and hope that i don`t end up on my backside in all this ice
Have a good day peeps, keep safe and warm.

Morning all:D
-8 here in sheffield:o:eek: no more snow since yesterday but the snow from then is rock hard. I think it is too cold to snow, more is predicted for tomorrow and Tues I think.
I get married a week on Thurs and I am originally from Newcastle so relatives coming from there:eek:, not sure if they will manage or risk it as it is predicted to stay like this for at least 2 weeks.
Everything coming together for the wedding, need to book final dress check and pick dress up then. Got my veil sorted too. Full length one I am keeping on all evening
I will be happy when I am at the reception afterwards and all my worries about crying like a looney and making a fool of myself will be over:o.....I get very over emotional and cant control myself at all.
DS was at his dads yesterday and back at 12 today...can`t wait for him to get back. He was saying last week how he would love a tv and his playstations in his room. I don`t really agree with kids his age having tv in bedrooms but I think he needs time away from us sometimes with his autism problems so we said we would sort it for his this weekend. Got portable tv, dvd player and freeview from Ebayer who lives in same town...£21:j and a wooden unit from Argos for £9.99 so for £31 he is all kitted out....OH did it all and set it up yesterday......hopefully he will love it and it may reduce the anger and tantrums as he has somewhere to go and chill.
Roast chicken today and pots and veg....even got some parsnips .....dont do them much as no one else likes them but I love them.
Made Christmas cake yesterday so that is away in a tin.
Wrapped more pressies last night and watched Christmas Carol ( the newest one) was good:D
jackieO glad SIL present went really well:D
JackieG :T:T at getting to the meet, you seem a bit brighter than you were.
Redruby hope DD enjoyed her birthday:D How are things with your dad?

Morning all,
No snow here at all
, and strangly no frost, although its bitterly cold here. I am shattered from dd's sleepover last night, how can 8 girls make that much noise
, they were all awake at 8 this morning, and are upstairs getting dressed etc, they are all being picked up at 10, so peace will return then :T.
Will spend a bit of time with dd then, and give her her presents, then she will be off with her dad for a while and I can have a good tidy through, dinner tonight will be a chinese takeaway (dd's choice) so no cooking for me :T
Got one load of bedding in the wm, and another to go in, its blowing well today, so should get a bit dry.
Took little dog and mums dog out for a long walk yesterday, I had 5 layers on, my my goodness the wind on top of the downs was fierce:eek:, still both dogs had a really good run.
Not a lot of os today, will be a day of pottering and being with dd, cant believe she is 16, where did all those years go ??
You all seem to have had a great time at the meet, which I could have been there, but I dont think I could be further away if I tried :rotfl:
NPM, thanks hun
, dad has good and bad days, physically he is much better, but yesterday was a really confused day for him, hopefully today will be better. Hope Noah likes his new tv etc xx
Ok better get on sound like a heard of elephants is arriving downstairs
