Winter tyres?

Just get budget winter tyre's, they'll still be better than summer tyre's in snow etc.
Alternatively "mytyres" do Nokian Ntyre, a winter marked tyre designed for all year round use in climates like ours.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

I can't find anywhere with budget winters in stock lol. Blackcircles had Kumhos a few weeks ago but not now.0

same here,
I have resorted to preworns...better than nothing I think.0 -
Hmmm I don't like part worns as a rule however there's a definite saving to be made there on tyres that might not last that long when the weather improves0

Never seen an all weather tyre from Nokian. I'm on their WR G2 winter tyres, (excellent so far), and they only list winter or summer on their website.
Which one is the "all weather"?0 -

Genrally you would buy your winter tyres and once the weather starts improving you would switch back to your summer tyres. That way you dont really lose out by running winters longer than you have to so you get a few winters out of one set.0 -

I know, I'd love to have room to store a set of wheels/tyres but it's not happening.
Got a quote of £260 for Vrederstein (sp?) winters fitted, just waiting to hear if they can actually get stock because every man and his dog are ordering winter tyres at the moment :rotfl:0 -

eNtyre- they list it as a 'summer tyre' but it is actually all weather (states it on the side). Primarily designed for North America, but sold here too on MyTyres and Camskill I think. http://www.nokiantires.com/tyre?id=99244&group=1.02&name=Nokian+eNTYRE
Got in on my car, they are decent, quite good and a decent compromise if you don't want to change.0 -
Had my winter tyres fitted about 4-6 weeks ago. Hankook Icebear - £60/corner for 15" BMW Mini wheels.
Goodluck and remember it pays to shop around!0 -
It helps if you post where you got them from then
