It's the start of getting your life back so hold onto that thought. If you ever want support then please do come back here. If you do not have a mobile phone, then get one. I think there are some cheap PAYG ones at Tesco at the moment but you do not need credit to call 999 so keep that in mind.

Good luck for the future. x
  • Thank you blue monkey - I already have a mobile phone. I will keep you posted.

I am angry that I have been ripped off to the tune of £507

Worth every penny for peace of mind though!

Well done for taking the first and most important step, hang on in there, it won't be easy but you're more than half way there. Good luck :)

Thanks for posting that update - the most diffucult bit is over now, well done - Whatever else happens now there are people here who know what to do and people who have lived through similar things and will understand.
Almost certainly, it will get better. You have been through a really bad experience. I know it feels bad to be ripped off and out of pocket on top of being used and abused, but honestly, the less you dwell on it the better. I know it's easy to say let it go when its someone else doing the letting go.
It took a lot of strength to do what you've done, well done. Whatever other problems come, and they might not, in spite of a few spiteful people, 98% of the people here want to help each other and will be here for you too. Good luck, take care of yourself and the dog too.

Sugarbabe, I am SO relieved that you have finally got him. out. WELL DONE! I know how difficult this must have been for you.

Good luck for Friday, and beyond. The money would have been nice but your safety is the important thing.
I also try and treat people as I would like to be treated but sometimes you have to be abit tough. (Like others on here I have learned this from bitter experience).

Keep focussed on the positives now, and let your family help as much as possible.

    Take care.
