Isn't this another way of them running their £100/£120 cashback on Orange broadband which has been rotating between Quidco and Topcashback for the past few months? Or am I missing something?
Many thanks

Since Martin has highlighted this deal, and no doubt raised the awareness of it massively, I hasten to point out that the Groupon page is slightly misleading (due, no doubt on Orange's part - not Groupon's):
I can't see any mention on the offer page that the Xbox 360 console is the 4GB model. The price point they suggest is not an RRP price for either the 4GB or 250GB model, yet the picture in the offer is the gloss black Xbox 360 250GB model. The 4GB model is matte black, and I feel this is misleading.
DON'T BE MISLEAD - I suggest seeking clarification before taking up this offer. Martin's page says 4GB, but the offer page does not.
Even the specially created landing page on Orange's website has no mention of the Xbox model on offer: http://orange.content-hosting.co.uk/grouponxbox/
In case these details change, I have taken a screenshot of the entire page, as of 10:05 on 28 Nov 2010 - PM me if you want a copy.-Al,

I cannot believe that MSE are even suggesting that anybody should sign up with Orange ( read Lemon ).
They have a dire track record when it comes to BB.0 -
Excuse me if I'm being a little slow, but is the £11.50 line-rental paid to Orange instead of to BT, or as well as? If instead of does it matter if I'm still in contract with BT at the moment (ie I can't leave them)?
Thanks!0 -

Thanks!
The line rental to Orange is instead of BT, but yes, it does matter that you're still in contract with BT. You will have to negotiate directly with BT regarding your early termination fee, but it would probably be the remainder of your minimum term contract costs.-Al,

UPDATE: MSE have confirmed with Groupon that the console is the 4GB model, and the Groupon page title has been updated to reflect this.-Al,

I am just off the phone with orange myself and they have confirmed this to me as well.
I also checked if this can be used in conjunction with the £100 cash back from topcashback site... which they confirmed it can. Claim the cashback through the Xbox number not the topcashback number.
Also if you prefer not to go for the XBox option and know a friend who can recommend you, the £100 cashback also works in conjunction with the £50 for you and your friend when they recommend you... you need to do this through option through the recommend and friend number rather than the topccashback number.
Obviously you'll need to register with topcashback before you make the call and be armed with your u/n and email for them.0 -
I currently have orange broadband and home phone (me personal experience of them is very good).
Can we use this deal if we are a current customer (ie renew our contract with them) or shall we cancel then renew? have been trawling the T&Cs but can not find anything on this.
Be good if we can do this as my old 360 needs replacing!0 -

How does that work please, as clearly the telephone number relates specifically to TCB or Groupon (and the "£100" that TCB pay out is funding the XBox purchase for groupon?).
Excellent deal if it is possible.
Does anyone know, if you are switching your phoneline back to BT, do you have to be live before you can order?
Many thanks

To be honest, i was doubtful that the deals would run in conjunction but thought i'd ask the question. The woman i spoke to checked with her boss and said that you could combine these deals but needed to get the right line first. I didn't get into specifics as to how they fund the deals but your best bet would be to phone and see if you can get something from them via email confirming this.
For me I don't really want the Xbox and can be bothered punting it on eBay so I'll be going down the recommend a friend option, and trying to get the cashback on top of that.0
