am having the same problem with smyths toy shop, ordered a £100 of toys 6 days ago and money was taken out straight away no despatch as yet even tho items were in stock.

Can you open a dispute via paypal to get my money back, to be honest I don't think they intend on sending anything out and they are holding on to our money. They had previously said that goods would be sent out within a week and they haven't.

I agree, I think tbh it was a glitch, it was not only a glitch posted on here where many many people would have seen, it was also obvious from the email the offer had no minimum spend. (I think they meant to add one!) so I doubt they were at all prepared for the traffic which came as a result.

Then factor in the snow, the lack of services (not had post for a week here, all trains stopped working-no staff even available to tell anyone why/what was going on, rubbish not been taken for nearly 2 weeks now when its normally twice a week or more, schools all out....and I'm quite far south!) I don't think the problems are all down to the company. I think their own suppliers may have had issues as well as delivery companies having issues.

I got my order and I spent only £2 and £3 over the discount. I did order pretty early so likely was at the front of the queue if there was one. I hope everyone gets what they ordered and would be suprized if they don't, its a company I would use again despite reading the rest of the thread!

i have 5 order that have ben paid for not arrive just yet, will wait a few more days then get in touch with them, but i have never had a problem with them before. they are normally very fast and professional.
