I am on a roll decluttering again! I don't think I will make my target of 30 items but I seem to have turned a corner mentally. I'm finding it so much easier to get rid of things at the moment which is really unlike me! I'm so sentimental and get attached to things so easily.

I've just sorted through the pile of coats that were lurking under the stairs and I've got another bag to go out now. DH is off Monday so I think I'll send him to both the charity shop and the clothes recycling place to get rid of all the bags and boxes waiting to go out. I know I should give the clothes to charity but at the moment I need to concentrate on clearing my debt so the recycling place it is.

DD wants to sell some of her things that she decluttered from her bedroom to make some money for her Disneyland fund! Ever since we came home she's been asking to go back and has a piggy bank dedicated to saving towards our next trip :rotfl: I've put some bits on FB and some on selling sites. Hopefully she'll make a bit of money.
    Goals for February
    Declutter 2/50
    Money Made £0/£200
    Overpayments £0/£200

Afternoon all (just) Minimum payment on the loan went out yesterday but I picked up an agency shift so didn't get chance to look at the banks. Anyway I've looked this morning and the reduction in the loan balance is more than it normally is. The interest we pay through the min payment has dropped from £20 to £16 which is great as more of the min payment now pays off the capital. Good to have the min payment working with us on the debt busting :rotfl:

I haven't actually glossed the other side of the kitchen door yet :o and the decluttering didn't get very far over the weekend. DD has so far, however made £4.50 for her Disneyland fund bless her. I might start looking at hotels at this rate :rotfl: No seriously I'm very proud of her. :D

I did a shift with the agency last night. I had thought that I would knock it on the head as the work they were offering me was completely unsuitable plus I'd only signed up to pay for our DLP holiday. But they rang yesterday and offered me a shift in the hospice I worked at quite a lot last year. I loved it there and DH had a day off work so he could sort the kids out so I said yes. I am shattered today though. There was a lot of heavy manual work there last night plus I did a kettlebells class yesterday morning and again this morning! I am pooped!

She had such a fab time she asked when we were going back before we were on the ferry to come home! :rotfl:One of the first things she did when we got home was find a piggy bank and put some money in it. DH and I are also putting money in it. Not much as we will in due course, start saving again in our online saver thing, but she does see us put money in there which is spurring her to put more money in there. She doesn't earn pocket money yet as we think she is a bit young (although she does have her own jobs to do in the house) but any money she finds or if people give her some money. She does also ask if there are any extra jobs she can do to earn money. I am actually very proud of the way has set her mind to this. :D
