    Indeed! :j :j

Just popped in to suggest you remove those embarrassed smileys from round your 'pay off by Christmas 2015' figure in your signature. You have nothing to be embarrassed about and everything to celebrate - by my calculations you've paid off over 29% already this year! :j :j :j

Thank you both. Yes I am focused but to be honest it's just that we have re jigged our finances a bit so that we should have spare each month. And obviously that money we were owed really helped.

Yes cheery we are 29% paid off and only £1000 away from half way :D Hopefully we can hit half way before half way through the year. That would great if we could :D Maybe I could replace the :o with :) instead. No cheerleaders :j until we are over half way!

Just finished "decluttering" half a ball of wool I have had for years! I made some little crochet hearts for an activity at church and I've just finished knitting a hat for DD's friend. I was a bit worried it would run out before I finished the hat but I just managed it! Phew!

I have also done a bit more masking tape around the panes of glass in the dining room door. The kitchen door is all taped up ready to be painted. I'm hoping to paint that tomorrow night after the kids go to bed. I'm going to try to get at least one side of the dining room door done too so I can paint that tomorrow while I have the gloss out. It's surprising how clean the other door looks since I painted it! It's showing up all the other doors now though :rotfl:

Kids wanted a pj day today so I've been upstairs sorting through DS's clothes and bedroom while he played with his cars on the floor by my feet. He had so many clothes that were too small for him. I also found a school polo shirt and a jumper that we had kept from his sister so that's a future saving made there :T

I decluttered a big bag of clothes, a packet of nappies and some other bits that will go to the charity shop. After a slow start to the month, the decluttering total is starting to go up.

I also plan to gloss the kitchen door this evening after the kiddies are in bed. I know how to live I tell you :rotfl:

We know how to live don't we??? :rotfl:

Well I only managed to paint half a door last night. I took the handles off the kitchen door as a) they are awful and b) I could do a better paint job if I didn't have to go around them. I painted the one side with the door shut then realised I couldn't paint the other side as the wet side would touch the wall and without the handle still attached I couldn't hold it open! :rotfl:So I'll have to paint the other side tomorow night. I have a meeting tonight so it won't happen tonight. But it's a start I suppose.
