:j :j :j They finally paid!!!! Woohoo!!! We did have to phone them again to *ahem* remind them but it's finally in our bank account. We haven't moved all of it just the majority as we are keeping some for diy things that we need. But even saying this, a MASSIVE £600 paid off the loan today :j :j :j

We've been managing without it so it made sense really. It was actually lots of little payments that they owed us so each time they didn't pay us we managed without. It's just so nice to have it in such a big lump sum as it has made a huge difference in our debt levelGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -

Thank you. We are pretty pleased too. Not only because it's a little victory that they actually paid us!!
We should have some more money due to us too. We have applied for a council tax refund for money we have paid when we think we shouldn't have. They are looking into our claim and hopefully they will find in our favour. If they do that will be another big chunk off the loan. We are hoping to hear by the end of the month.
I am so looking forward to having the loan paid off. I'm pretty sure we are the lowest point debt wise for years if not ever. I need to have a look back in my diary. It's giving me renewed vigourGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -

Morning all. DH got paid today and it was more than budgeted for :j so I have moved £200 to the loan. February is turning out to be a good money month for us. DH also said that he should have some overtime in next month's pay too. Finally all those extra hours are starting to pay off.
