I've had a bit of a busy day today and it's not helping that I'm not feeling 100% Yesterday I felt like I had been hit by a bus after a kettlebells class the day before. My abs are not hurting anymore but my hamstrings and glutes are very tight in my right leg today. Add that to a banging headache and I'm seriously feeling sorry for myself!! I know poor me! ;)

I donated some play doh toys to a friend who's grandson loves play doh yesterday so that's another bag decluttered and I've got someone who wants my second pram so that can go this week. I also cleaned for a friend yesterday so earned some money. Which is good as I have been lax at that this month. :(

Hope you feel better soon Star!

Well done on the declutter! I got sick of the mess in our house about 2 weeks ago and tidied everywhere (except the dreaded top room). Amazingly it has stayed tidy so I plan to keep it that way! I need to do more decluttering too though, I've way too much around the house!

I don't even think about decluttering any more :o after years of good intentions and very little progress I've kind of just accepted it's not going to be a minimalist house and trying to live with it! :o

Hope you feel better soon lass xx

Decluttering is a must!! Our house never looks tidy due to the clutter. I would like just one time for my house to actually look (and be) tidy!!

Well I have been MIA for a few days by the looks of things. I was on a course on saturday and then DH has been off for a few days so we have been doing jobs around the house.

But it is February now so let's see how I fared in January shall we??

    January Challenges
NSD 2/6 *oops I've lost count*
I lost count on NSD's quite early on in the month. Then we went away and then well..... I honestly couldn't tell you how many I had. I don't think I'll be including this challenge again :o
    Payments made £311.64/£300 :j
I am quite pleased with this target. No where near last January's amount but still I beat the monthly target so all good :D
Decluttering 31/6 :j:j I am very pleased with this. I completed exceeded the target and have decluttered loads. Still a long way to go yet though so this will make another appearance in February
Money Earned £39/£100 Oops pretty rubbish :o But let's be honest I didn't actually try on this one as I used my free time decluttering or doing jobs around the house which is probably better for my sanity!! :rotfl: Better luck next time

So February challenges then..... definitely a declutter challenge and an overpayment challenge. Not sure what else. Maybe I should attempt another money earned challenge?

So overpayments this month will include the (paid off) window loan money, plus we don't pay council tax this month so that will be moved over on the 15th (our payment date), our childcare costs have reduced too now that DS is entitled to go to school 2hours a day. I will continue to budget for the full amount and move the difference to the loan. With that in mind I have already made a payment of £198 to the loan. :T

Decluttering. I will increase my target to 30 as I managed to clear that amount in January. Hopefully it will help me keep momentum.

I am currently glossing the bannisters in the house and will be continuing the gloss around the house. I think I will keep a tally of how many internal doors I gloss in a month too. Please bare in mind that I can only gloss when the kiddies are in school and if it will have enough time to dry before they are likely to touch it. With that in mind I am limited in which doors I can paint and when. So there are 6 internal doors downstairs and 4 upstairs. 10 altogether (wow good maths there :rotfl:) Could I manage to paint 2 doors this month? That way I should be done by summer :rotfl:

So here goes. Wish me luck

    February Challenges
    Payments made £198/£500
    Decluttering 0/30
    Doors glossed 0/2
    Money Earned £0/£100
    Goals for February
    Declutter 2/50
    Money Made £0/£200
    Overpayments £0/£200

Morning all. I am still chasing the company for the money I am owed  I have rang them every day this week except for yesterday when I was so busy I forgot. They are still giving me the run around. Tbh I don't believe a word they say anymore  I am holding on to the hope that they will get so sick of me ringing that they will pay me just to shut me up :rotfl: safe to stay as soon as my contract is up with them (March I think) then I will be leaving them!

I had an hour to myself yesterday as both kiddies were in school/preschool. A whole hour. Lucky me :D so I was very rock and roll and decluttered my wardrobe! It's been needing doing for a while. I don't wear a lot of stuff in there and they are using up hangers that I need for the clothes that I do actually wear, which usually end up on the floor in piles :o

Yesterday I declutered over 30 items from my wardrobe and my chest of drawers. Which is a huge bag full!! I was amazed at exactly how much of my wardrobe I don't wear and yet *still* didn't have anything to wear! I'm hoping that by having less in my wardrobe I'll actually wear things more and my bedroom should stay a bit tidier as there will be less clutter on the floor.

I do think I could have been a bit more harsh in the decluttering but I took out so much I want to give it a couple of months as it is. Then if I think I'm still not wearing things then I will go through it again.

Question is- does this count as 32 items decluttered or 1 bag????

Gosh, that's outrageous that you haven't been paid yet! Don't blame you for hounding them!

    I'd definitely count it as 32 items :D :j :j
