Thank you for your lovely words GP I will have a look at that clip.
I did indeed go to church and it was fine. No need to be nervous at all. In fact it proved to me exactly how many (proper) friends I have.
We are going away next week. All the months of extra shifts and agency work last year and I will finally get the benefit :j I'm so excited I can't wait. Never mind the kids :rotfl:
I haven't spent much money this month so far. I did spend yesterday and I have spent again this morning (and more plans to spend later) Not much though. I spent £1 yesterday and our church coffee morning (I had 3 cups of tea and 2 pieces of toast) The tea was very free flowing yesterday. I don't normally have that many!! This morning I bought 3 apples and some clementines from the local greengrocer (and a sneaky chocolate bar for DS) and we are meeting up with 3 other mums and babies later for a cuppa in the small coffee shop across the road. So even though lots of spending, it wasn't actually lots of £££'s
I think I do make that 6 NSD's so far though! :T Maybe my challenges were too easy this month??
DS starts school 2 hours a day when we get back from holiday so we are saving a lot of nursery fees. He only goes 2 days a week so that I can get work done so with him going to school in the afternoon our fees have almost halved. Saving us £74 a month. (a bit less this month as I have to pay full fees this week and next). So more money to add to the overpayments :T

:hello: CMD. I am frantically going through the washing basket today to make sure that all the favourite clothes are washed and ready to be packed. DS for one is very particular about things. Personally I think he borders on OCD sometimes. He will only wear certain items and if they are not clean he refuses to get dressed!
CMD you are very close to your house deposit now. Any luck in finding anywhere??Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
Well we are back from our holiday! It was fab! We had an absolutely fantastic time. We were pretty good with money there too. We budgeted well which meant thatwe didn't spend the entire holiday worrying about money. We were just careful with very little unnecessary spending.
I came back to an email from the agency saying my timesheet from w/e 7th November had been approved and the pay in my bank account!! I had assumed I wouldn't get paid for it now so that was a bonus.
Since being back I seem to be in a very good headspace. I have been organised and very motivated to clean, tidy and declutter. The house still isn't perfect but I don't think it ever will be to be honest but I have made a start and I feel good for doing so. I hope that the movtivation stays around a bit longer as yesterday I managed to declutter 10 items and today I dropped off 2 large baby items to a friend who is expecting. They were taking up space in the attic, there will be no more babies for me and she needed them but didn't have the money to buy new. I'm happy that they have gone to someone who will appreciate them

I'm so delighted that your holiday was so good, the photos were fantastic and have inspired me to keep on paying off the debts so that I can bring the kids on holidays debt free!
Snap with the decluttering and cleaning. I have been way more motivated the last few weeks and the house is actually looking okay. All the bathrooms are clean and the rooms are tidy. I have also passed on some clothes to my sisters friend for her little boy and have filled up a charity bag, ready to be dropped off. Still lots more paperwork to be file but I'm getting there.
