DD has a star made from plaits in her hair today for day 3 of "the 5 days of Christmas hair challenge" *needs a snappier title* :D The upside of this, is that she is quite happy to get out of bed in the morning. Not the usual fuss of "5 more minutes". Pinterest is getting a good workout though as I look for ideas. Tomorrow she will have a bun dressed as Rudolph (like last year) and Friday she will have a Christmas tree!

I may have sold DD's old scooter. A lady is supposedly picking it up tonight. If so that's another thing decluttered (very slow on that this month) and a bit of extra money too :D

I'm off to coffee morning at my church this morning then I have some sewing to do to finish my last dress commissions before Christmas. Should get paid for them on Friday, fingers crossed.

Woohoo!! Last day of school before Christmas!! :j

DD has a christmas tree in her hair today which finishes off the christmas hair (until next year probably!). Her school held a traditional christmas carol afternoon yesterday. Basically we went up and one of the teachers plays the trombone, so between him and a few friends they played carols and the other teachers brought the classes in to sing along. Then they were selling hot dogs and drinks and cake pops and various crafts the kids had made. Cost me a small fortune

Today DS and I are going to a Frozen Wonderland with his nursery. I am not holding my breath though as I have heard about another one in a different part of the country that was shut down after complaints from parents!! Hope this one isn't as bad!

I've also got someone coming to pick up some dresses I've made too. I hope she likes them. :o

Hope you are all having a nice Friday

:hello: Cheery Frozen Wonderland wasn't too bad. Bit of a waste of money for us though as DS was not impressed by the mascots. He wouldn't go near them and the only reason he went near Santa was because he could see the other kids getting presents!!He still wouldn't look at or talk to Santa mind. Just a tiny mumble of "thank you" when he got his present.

Well DD has broken up from school so Christmas is officially started :j Let the eating of chocolate begin :EasterBun

I have no more sewing orders which is nice as I can relax and finally tidy the dining room to make room for the Christmas tree :o

I have the best friends! I'm feeling pretty down this morning after a horrible night. Up all night with DD being sick. Feeling a bit like a bad mammy too over it but that's another story. Anyway I was on the phone to my mum and there was a knock at the door. When I opened the door, a friend was standing there with a shopping bag. She said "I hope you are not offended but a friend dropped these round last night and it's too much for us so I wondered if you wanted them" 4 loaves of reduced 2p bread now in the freezer. :D

Minimum payment has gone out on the loan and it's made me very happy indeed :D

    December challenges
    Paid off £323.92/£300 :j
    [STRIKE]Sub £5k[/STRIKE] :j
    [STRIKE]50.6%/50% total paid off[/STRIKE] :j
    Decluttered 1/20

Oops only failed on the decluttering :o

I have realised though that the minimum payment takes me to less than £23 shy of paying off £5k so I might see if I can squeeze the extra £23 to make it not only sub £5k owing but also £5k paid off is year :T
