Oh boy! I've been missing in action. To be honest I have been busy busy busy. I am still cracking on with the dress order which had to be put aside to rush a fairy godmother outfit the week before the show opened  On the upside though we have got tickets for the show tomorrow so I'll get to see it up on stage. How exciting!
I haven't been feeling well this week so have zero energy. All my get up and go has left me but we are working with schools this week so I am having to drag myself out and be enthusiastic and funny (!) til the kids leave. Then I get to be miserable and feel sorry for myself for about an hour while we re set up the room ready for the afternoon school group!
Usually my main part of it is talking to the puppet we have. Our puppeteer is fab and although I can see her over the screen which kind of spoils it a bit for me!!! We do have a great time. Yesterday however, the English group's puppeteer couldn't make it so as I know the script I was asked if I would do the puppet! A quick lesson in puppetry later and I had to do it in front of 50 kids!! It was great! I loved it and really want my own puppet now. Don't quite know what for but I still want one! :rotfl:
I probably won't be back on here over the weekend as we have some family things going on and things that need sorting out. Fingers crossed for a positive outcome xGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
Another busy week. Still doing the schools work, I've made some new Welsh contacts this week so those will be handy to boost the numbers of Welsh speakers we have.
Do you remember the order of 20 dresses I had? I've finally finished them as the number increased to a final tally of 31  this morning I get to see them all in action. I'm hoping to get some good photos of the kids up on stage wearing them. I'm quite excited to see so many of my makes in action at one time but I'm also quite nervous. What if they look pants? What if they.... I don't know.... Don't twirl properly?? And other quite mad thoughts!!! :eek:Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
Let's do a quick money/ month so far update as I have been shockingly bad at keeping up this month!
Payment made £346.96
Decluttered 9/30
Not doing very well with my decluttering but I haven't really had time to do anything. I will keep at it though and will attempt another 30 next month.
Money wise, we are so close to sub £5k and also to 50% paid off. Both of which will happen before the end of the year. :T although I am slightly disappointed that I haven't paid off ALL the debt I am pleased with the amount paid off. It is actually a huge amount and the loan was a 5yr thing. To pay off half in 1year is pretty good I think.
Right best go start stirring the sleeping beauties upstairs ready for the fayre.Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -

Thank you RT50% in 12 months.......da iawn!
We've had a pretty good day here today. Went to the christmas fayre this morning and really enjoyed it. All the dancers looked beautiful in their costumes. I felt really proud of myself. It's been a while since I sewed professionally and this was a HUGE undertaking. I was so nervous about messing it up and I've hardly slept as I've been getting up to start sewing at 5am each morning in order to get a couple of hours in before kids got up/ I went to work etc. But all the hard work was worth it when parents I didn't know kept coming up to me, thanking me for the dresses and telling me how much their little one loved it
I had also booked a table at the fair too. I thought it would be a good way to earn a bit of extra money if I made some bits to sell. But after paying for my table, I've had so much sewing to do with the dress numbers going up and up that I haven't had time to make enough stock. I was a bit disappointed last night as I didn't really know what to do. I would lose the money I have already paid for the table and feel a bit of a failure too for not making enough stock. Anyway last night in bed the solution came to me. This morning, I got up early and went up into the attic. I pulled out all my card making stuff (MIL gave me boxes of the stuff a few years ago) and sorted out the christmassy stuff. I took them along to the fair and did a "Make your own Christmas card" I charged 50p a card and actually made money while decluttering :T:j DH was really pleased. He even sat down at the table and started making cards for us to send to relatives. The kids made some too which stopped them from being bored during the fair. Win win all around.
Unfortunately I can't really quantify how much stuff I decluttered, as a lot of it was stickers and papers but I would say that a small box worth of card making stuff went, so I will claim 1 item to add to my declutter tally.
Payments made £346.96
Decluttered 10/30
I also plan to take the same stuff to my youth club this week and get them to make cards too so that will be more decluttered. :TGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -

It's not looking too bad really is it? If I can do the same next year we'll be laughing!!!
So December....last month of the year. Let's set some goals.
Money is pretty tight at the moment as I haven't done any agency shifts due to putting in extra time with my normal job. That has resulted in extra childcare so extra costs. We haven't been silly with christmas. We have budgeted and kept to budget too. Just a few more presents to get and we are done. But we do need to keep an eye on our money this month to make sure that we don't get into trouble. Let's say a conservative £300 although sub £5k and 50% would be fantastic so I won't be that disappointed if I don't make £300
Decluttering needs to continue. As its nearly christmas and we'll get an influx of new stuff (not too much hopefully) then I could do with decluttering at least 20 items.
