    Wow! Very impressive Starnac!:T:T:T

Alas I won't make my fortune. Not this time anyway! It's for a dance school and Ive agreed to donate part of the profits back to the school. I'm kind of hoping that if they like them they'll come back and you never know, the parents might order off me in the future. Who knows?

Payday for me today. Need to check the banks to see if I can make an overpayment. Pesky bank sent us a letter yesterday saying "here's an update on your loan......blah blah blah.......here's an extra £5k for you" last time they sent that letter we took the extra and consolidated our two loans into one as it was a much better interest rate. However this time we would be no better off - in fact we would be worse off so in the shredder it went! I will not be sucked back into more debt. No no no! The letter made it sound so easy though!

As for the agency pay - pah  perhaps best to accept it'll turn up 2 weeks after shift. Very annoying.

Yes I think this may be the way to do then I won't get annoyed each time. It will be better for my sanity :rotfl:

Okay off to do some banking. It's the end off the month tomorrow  how did that happen AGAIN? November on Saturday! The two men in my life have birthdays in November. One will be 3 and the other 40! I'll let you work out which is which ;)

Banking finally done!! £200 moved to loan. That's the old window loan payment and I forgot to ring our mortgage company again this month :o to put our monthly payment back up to the original amount after the interest rate drop so I've moved what would have been the overpayment to the loan as well. Must ring them this week!!!!

Money update done. Creeping closer to 50% paid off. I think it's fair if I revise my goal to say I'll pay off half the debt this year :rotfl: Payments each month haven't been too bad so I shouldn't be disappointed. Just have to keep plugging away and stay here for another year!

:hello: Monz welcome to my diary. Hope you like it here :D

Thank you RT in all honesty it's not too shabby is it really?

I've had one of those days today. Started off with me and DD having "words" over her behaviour recently. I am at the end of my tether at the moment. She just doesn't listen and has been getting into trouble for things that she does to "show off" to her friends! P'ah!! Then I dropped her off to school and couldn't remember why I had decided to take the car. I had planned to take her to school then go straight somewhere else to do something, but couldn't (and still can't) remember what it was I was going to do!

Then I had a text saying my parcel was on it's way and I could track it via the internet. I did and the "tracking" consisted of a message that said "out for delivery" What does that mean?? So I sent a tweet to their customer services asking if they could narrow down a time for me. They said they would look into it. After "looking into it" they were very pleased to tell me they had narrowed it down to "before 7pm" I mean what????? How is that narrowing it down??? I was fuming and I'm slightly ashamed to admit I told her in no certain terms (but in 140 characters ;) ) that she was not being helpful!! Anyway it has arrived and it's DS's birthday present :j

No major money saving here today as I've been doing a lot of paperwork/admin type things today. I did declutter my 4th box this month though! I am playing the November minimalist game on twitter #minsgame It's basically a declutter challenge. You are supposed to declutter 1 item on the 1st of the month, 2 items on the 2nd of the month etc Enventually by the end of the month you should have decluttered 456 items (I think) but as I am decluttering boxes rather than individual items I am aiming for a total of 30 (one a day)

    Payments made £200
    Decluttered 4/30

Oh dear, what a vexing day you've had!! Before 7pm indeed. What's the point of having a tracking system if that's all it can tell you?! Hope things calm down a little soon xx

Hi cheery. Things are a bit calmer here ish. DD is still on a warning over her behaviour. I'm trying to tread a thin line between wanting her to have fun and mess about (she is only 7) but also to keep her behaviour reasonable. It's hard!

I'm cracking on with my dress orders. Got a nice chunk of money for the deposits today. However I need to go out and buy more fabric so most of that will be gone tomorrow.

DS and I had a quiet day today. A friend popped around for a cup of tea. We had a good catch up and put the world to right. I did a bit of unnecessary spending when I bought petrol as I bought a treat for DS to have while his sister was at her dance class. It does get boring for him waiting around though in my defence

The kids have had tea and I made a bit extra to go in both DH and DD's lunch boxes for tomorrow so currently feeling a bit smug that I wont have to run around in the morning. I had to rush with DD's lunch this morning. I usually pay for school dinners for her on a Thursday as its curry day and she loves it (apparently! She won't eat it at home!) anyway I'd put money ready for dinners when I found a letter from school asking for money for a school trip. Couple that with the money I was sending in for tickets to the Christmas concert and I didn't have enough money for both. So I quickly made a packed lunch and re-purposed the dinner money to make up the shortfall for the trip/concert total. She was a bit disappointed but was fine once I'd explained why she couldn't have dinners.

Very wet and windy here. Hope it's not as cold with you as it is here. Brr!!
