We did - not convinced it was a good idea mind you! :rotfl: :rotfl: :D but I'm assuming I'll speed up a bit if I think I'm being chased by a wolf!  :rotfl: :rotfl:

The thing that made me speed up was the thought of being at the back and something "touching" me  and :rotfl: how ridiculous!

Well yesterday was my birthday. I have to admit that I am sad enough to smile at the email from MSE wishing me a happy birthday. It's a nice touch I think.

My day was okay. Kids went back to school and I had a list of things to do so big! Perked up in the evening when DH came home and brought a takeaway. Not good for my waistline but good for my mood so I don't care :rotfl:

Money wise our account is looking really good. We had already decided that when DH's overtime came in we would pay off my overdraft completely. But now it's looking like we have also knocked about £500-600 off our j/a this month too. Not entirely sure how we did that except that we have been more careful this month and I also put my expenses form in too. Anyway it'll be great if that's actually right. I take the balance from the j/a on the 14th (day before DH is paid) as that's the lowest point of the month normally. That's thursday and I can't wait. It would be a big boost if I'm right and nothing goes out sneakily between now and then

    Goals for February
    Declutter 2/50
    Money Made £0/£200
    Overpayments £0/£200

Well I had a good money day. Kind of. I upgraded my mobile 2 months ago. I have one of those fruit phones and love it. The one I had was 4 years old and had worked perfectly until the beginning of the year when it started freezing and turning off for no reason. It had done this a year ago and the "genius's" managed to fix it but this time they told me the phone was way too old to bother now (that's a different story!!)

So I upgraded. Not to the newest fruit phone but to the one up from what I had. I spoke to the guy in the shop and he looked at my usage etc and recommended a plan for me. So I took it. Two months in a row now and I have used up all my data allowance (500MB) with over a week left to go on my billing cycle. I was pretty annoyed as the guy had apparently looked at my usage over the last 6 months and recommended this plan to me. I haven't altered my usage in any way. Well apart from this month where I have been extra careful with using my data!

So I rang and complained. In the shop the guy said to go up to the next plan was a difference of £5 which is why I stuck to his recommendation. £5 a month extra is a lot for what I potentially won't use.

Anyway I spoke to the customer service guy and explained that I wasn't happy at being recommended something that obviously wasn't suitable. He had a look and said that the next plan was 1GB of data for an extra £1 but as I was a loyal customer he would give me 2GB for the extra £1 :T

So I'm pretty pleased now. I definitely won't go over 2GB's of data and it's only costing me £1 extra a month. I was willing to meet them halfway between the £5 difference quoted in the shop so you can imagine how pleased I am. I look like this > :D

Well a fantastic money day today. DH gets paid tomorrow so today is usually the lowest point in the account balance so I've done a check and in a month we have reduced the j/a overdraft by *drum roll* £655.27 I can't believe it. We have been more careful this month and we finally put in a claim for all the expenses but wow! That's a fab amount. I'm really happy. :D Tomorrow when he actually gets paid mine goes completely :j
