Morning all. DH did in fact come home safely and has been home for a week now. He had most of the week off work so we have been cracking on with bits and pieces that needed doing around the house. A leaky pipe has been fixed, the much needed plastering has started in the kitchen too :T Let's hope it doesn't get left half done for weeks on end now.

DH finally got his overtime paid so the majority of the overtime went to pay off my overdraft. :j I can't believe my account is in positive figures. Not by much - about £30 but still. That should last me till the end of the month when my wages go into the joint account and I get my monthly spends :D

I'm so pleased. I keep logging into Internet banking to check it's still in the black. :rotfl: how sad am I?

FABBY news about the black bank account! :T I remember that feeling well when mine first returned to a steady black state rather than only ever achieving it for the first week of the month! :rotfl:

Also good news about the plastering. And we can beat your six years too - took us 13 to get the bathroom sorted!
