Yes sorry. I can't quite say why either as nothing major has happened. Just general life stuff.
I do miss this little corner when I don't log on though. I'm having a bit of a catch up while I have supposedly poorly children arguing over the ipad on the other settee :rotfl:Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
Morning all. DD back to school today after a week off. She has been really poorly which is not like her. It started with a cold, a headache and a temperature but there was nothing you could actually say was wrong with her. She was just "under the weather". She pretty much led on the settee for 4 days and that's not like her at all. She didn't even ask if she could go to school and she loves school! She bounced out of the door this morning.
I've got a few things to do this morning. One of which is to sort out my receipts. I've paid for quite a few things for work recently so I need to get that sorted so they can pay me back.Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
Wow. I just added up the bigger things and it's come to over £300  I will be presenting the treasurer with a bill as soon as he's home from work tonight!
No wonder our account has been looking pretty pathetic!Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
I've had a pretty productive day today. For some reason I feel very calm and motivated. It's weird but I hope it continues. I've done two loads of washing and hung it out on the line :j yay to sunshine. I've made soup for lunches for me and DH this week. I've also sorted out a bag of clothes to be rehomed and two boxes of toys for the charity shop. I've put one of the boxes in the boot of my car ready to take tomorrow and I'll put the other one in when I next go to the car (which will be in the morning I think)
I used fly-lady's 15 minutes to do some of the washing up (we've slipped a bit) and again to do the decluttering and sorting mentioned above. Life is generally a bit quieter at the moment (maybe that's the reason for the feeling of calm??) so I need to get started on the house again. So much work needs doing and it won't get done unless we start it!Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
Glad things are feeling a bit calmer, and that DD is well enough to go back to school
nice to have you posting again!

DH got paid today so I've done a bit of a money shuffle. I've moved £200 to my overdraft but I don't count it til the end of the month so it won't show in my signature yet. I also moved £200 to our savings as there is quite a lot of work needing to be done in the house soon. 2 new windows, a new toilet, decorating etc.
We've been quoted £750 for 2 new windows. A few people have told us this is high but it's exactly the same as our other windows. They are only 4 years old and I'd like them all to match so I'm happy to pay the extra as the cheaper quotes were for slightly different looking and lower energy rating windows. The money in our savings will need to pay for the new windows.
We got our council tax bill yesterday. It's gone up by £1 a month (over 10 months) so can't really complain. I've put the new figure into our budget but it doesn't affect things too much.Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
Expenses bill was given to the treasurer and the cheque has gone in the bank yesterday. When that clears, the account will look a lot healthier so that's good.
I've got the afternoon to myself so I plan to get 15 minutes of fly lady done, probably in the front room as I have someone coming round tomorrow. I've also got a bit of work to do so need to crack on with things.
Sun is out here but still very cold in the wind. I've got washing out on the line which I'm really happy about :rotfl: I know. I'm pretty sad aren't I?Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000
