Hi Pippi, I've been reading your diary and your flylady posts. Seems like a good idea for me too. Must go and investigate. Thank you xGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000

We're in the kitchen this week! I know its crazy but it is working for me. Its a kind of gentle boot camp.
DD comes home tomorrow - chaos will no doubt enschew. Man I miss them.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Gosh I'm tired today. I joined the gym on a special offer through my running club and have been doing abs and kettlebell classes. Every fibre of my body is tired. Couldn't even manage a short run last night. Trying to save my energy for my long run this weekend as I have to do 10miles!
Apart from the gym DS and I have just had a quiet morning at home. I have washed and put away all last night's dishes and put a wash on. That is about to finish soon so I will put out on the line, probably when I get back from dropping DS off to school. I also want to clear off the second settee as we have all just been dumping things on there all week.
Tomorrow is an inset day for the kids so I would like to get as much done as I can today so that the 3 of us can spend some time together tomorrow. I need to do a small shop on the way home from school as we have no milk or jam. Both staples here. Although I may see if our small shop has jam sugar and if so I'm sure I have fruit in the freezer that I could use to make jam!
It's a bit nippy here even though the sun is out and we've all got colds so i actually put the heating on todaySad day!
Right, need to go and change into more "outdoor/in public acceptable" clothing (bit scruffy at the mo) before taking DS to school.Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
Afternoon all. Well it's gone a bit quiet here now. The kids have had enough excitement already and have gone upstairs to play in the playroom. Gives me a bit of time to catch up on here and do some bits and bobs that need doing.
I've sorted a bit of paperwork that was taking over the dining room windowsill and sorted out for another wash (uniforms today) there seems to be a stain on DS's PE shirt (white obviously) so I need to try to get that out before washing it.
I put in all my work expenses while the treasurer had his chequebook to hand. That worked well as I got a cheque and it was in the bank within a couple of hoursI also got paid the last bit of money I was owed from all the dresses I made before summer. So I need to sort out exactly where all that is going to go.
The house still has way too much clutter going on so I think I need to set a timer and do 15mins of tidying to try and bring back a bit of order.Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -

Can you believe we have another Inset day today? That's 2 since the 1st September when they went back to school! Never mind. We are planning a sorting and tidying day although not sure how much the kids will get on board with that :rotfl:
Money is quite tight at the moment and I'm not exactly sure why? I've been looking through our statements and while yes, we do need to cut back on some spending other spending has decreased so technically we should be slightly better off. I'm wondering if I am being too eager with putting money in the building savings?
We have recently cut our house insurance and utilities bills. Our childcare has reduced as I've decided to keep DS home with me as much as possible. It doesn't help with me getting stuff done but we both enjoy each other's company. He starts full time school next September so I'm making the most of it.Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
This morning has been quite productive. I have:
put a wash on,
done the dishes,
started a pile of clothes to charity shop/pass on
hung most of my clothes up,
breakfast and lunch from stores
not spent any money
done banking and
organised a meeting
Still to do:
hang rest of clothes up
put other clothes away
put dishes away
hang washing up (inside as it's raining)
go for a run
tea from stores
Don't think there is anything else to do although I'm sure there will be if I look hard enoughGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -

So only thing I didn't manage to do was hang the washing up. Not bad, could do better though.

Yes we had a lovely day thank you. The train set is still over the floor in the front room (DS is playing with it again) and we can hardly sit down as there are soft toys, animals, and "babies" on both sofas. They are about to be relocated back upstairs but we had a good time playing with them.Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000
