Hi Starnac - I've been a bit MIA for the last week - well done you :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j

That must have been such a nice feeling. I was hoping this week we would be debt free but to do that we need a really frugal July which we just can't achieve with bits we need to pay for. So just another 4 weeks to wait.............

Well life has been very hectic here recently but as of today is going to be much slower. Today was not only last day in school but also my last agency shift too :D I will miss the place I've been working at but I need my sanity back :rotfl:

Money is looking pretty good. DH was paid yesterday so we moved the loan minimum payment over to savings for the building work plus £500 overtime :T We were also able to move some money into our own personal accounts to pay some off our O/D. I don't count them til the end of the month though as I see how the balance has changed from the same point last month. I'm hoping to see a nice reduction though :D

Building work fund for this month has been smashed thankfully. DH is due one more month of good overtime then it will probably drop by quite a bit so I'm trying to save as much as I can while it lasts.

    Hey lovely lady

Just wanted to pop in and thank you so very much for the lovely and generous offer of help that you made over on 'mine' yesterday :D

I think that under the *law of unintended consequences* you've helped me so much :D I think that you mentioning the project again has meant that it has been on the 'slow-burner of cogitation' all day today. And whilst I have been doing 'things other', me little brain cell has been beetling away, working on the project subconciously and has come up with another idea/colour combination.

It's just perfect and it's really fired up my mojo to do the project again :D I've just been sorting through my fabric stash and actually have everything on hand to make it happen :j

All from your supportive comment :D

    Hope you're having a fabarooni weekend :D

Evening all. There isn't much going on here at all but I felt like popping in anyway. We have been visiting the inlaws and have been having a sort out of the kids' bedrooms. I've started my half of our bedroom and DH has done his half. :D So apart from the craft stuff I need to move out of our bedroom and the mess that is the playroom, upstairs is looking pretty good. Shame no one actually sees the upstairs :rotfl:

This weekend is a quiet one. DH is away so just me and the kiddies. I plan to tackle the downstairs while he is gone. I've done most of the washing up (how do 2 small children use so many cups/bowls?) and have started on the huge washing pile. The weather is supposed to be lovely tomorrow so I have got a wash on now that I hope to be able to hang out first thing in the morning.

I have corralled all the toys that are downstairs into one corner. They will all eventually live upstairs but that's a bit unfair with the current state of the playroom - most of which is boxes not toys! There is a big pile of paperwork threatening to take over the coffee table too so that will need attention tomorrow too.

DD goes swimming tomorrow morning then after spending some time at my mum's, I'll be spending some time doing housework. It'll be worth it though as next week is our first proper school holiday week, and I want to spend my time with the kids not tidying and cleaning.
