Wednesday. I worked for the agency today and it was a bit different today. My patients all cancelled so they sent me upstairs to work on the ward. I haven't been up there for months. It was nice to work up there but to be honest I would have preferred it if they had just sent me home. They didn't want to as I had gone all the way there so they basically found me work but I've got so much to do at home I wouldn't have minded. Never mind, let's think of the money shall we?

Hubby has just got home and the kiddies are about to go in the bath so I'll sign off for now.

Think of the money indeed - you would have wasted the travel money if you'd gone home :) All taking you closer to that last 7%! :j :j :j

Indeed Cheery. They know that I travel a distance to get there which is why they found me work to do. I also wouldn't have got paid if I hadn't put the hours in.

I am starting to get weary of all the extra shifts though. :o I am contracted til mid July here though. After that I will refuse any more work for the short term, especially as the kids will be home for the summer by then. Maybe I'll pick some more shifts up in the run up to Christmas but we'll see. For now I am grateful for what I have but I am also ready to slow down and spend time with the kids again.
