Protest by Asylum Seekers

Earlier someone mentioned the Big Issue. I have bought the BI almost every week since it started printing. Each week they do an interview/profile of a Big Issue seller. A few weeks ago it was a Romanian woman with 3 kids (no dad around) who was saying how much better the UK was than Romania. Here she had a house she shared with another Romanian woman with 3 kids and no dad around as well, access to health services etc. etc.

If that isn't economic migration, which the UK doesn't need and cannot afford, I don't know what is. And you don't need to be homeless to sell the BI either now it seems.

Hang on my opinion is they are asylum seekers living in this country or scotland for those who want to be picky so if they are told they cant stay in X place then whats the problem, it would be easier if we just shut out doors to asylum seekers

I honestly think genuine asylum seekers would have better things to protest about. Be honest If you managed to make your way to Britain from a war zone/ ethnic cleansing and still had friends/ family back home would you try and bring attention to your countries problems or would you protest about having to move house?

Ok all, please advise why the so called genuine asylum seekers come through numerous countries to our shores,and my biggest gripe is why is it the male normally comes on his own.If life was so bad in their country they are desperately trying to escape why would you leave your wife and family,I Tell you why, we are so bloody stupid with our taxpayers money.I recently had the priveledge to chat to a somalian living away from his family trying to earn a living in a european country,he could not believe the policy we have regarding handouts in England, he really thought i was having him on when i told him you got houses and money for sitting around watching tv all day.

Going back to one of my earlier posts about the 'Border Patrol' they catch some of them and let them go, they tell them to report back next week, very few of them never do.

On a related issue, with all those strong winds we had a few weeks ago a tree fell over and killed 4 Asylum Seekers, a spokesman from the council said, "This is a terrible thing to have happened but we had no idea they were living up there."

Ditch Asylum Seekers. No money for people who have not contributed to the UK tax for 5 years by work.

I always thought the main difference between an illegal immigrant and an asylum seeker was that asylum seekers were better liars?
