    All London airports have them, in abundance, for free.

    What's the latest on these bags that you need for security. Are they supplied free or do you have to pay.
    Anyone know if they can be bought in supermarkets etc cheaper (if u have to pay at airport that is)

    Depends on the airport whether they're free or not.

    Supermarket will be cheaper than the airports that charge.

    TIA:)

    I've never had a problem using a normal freezer bag. About 100 for a pound at the supermarket :)

    i take it you mean city airport as thats the only real london airport.

    if not then "london" stansted still charges for bags, however "london" heathrow gives them out for free.

    I've just faced this.

    Heathrow = free
    Tbilisi = 10 lari (£3.30ish) each......

    Not good if you ask me.

    If you got a free bag on the way out why would you need to pay for one on the way back? Just keep it.

    Primark sell a strong resealable bag with 3x100ml bottles, a small funnel, and 2 small pots for £1.
    and why do they have to be resealable?
    and what's to stop a terrorist from having all the separate contents in 10 bottles and mixing them up when airside
    and what's to stop him meeting up with his mates and all combining their quota to make up one big mother of a device.
    A very poorly thought out knee jerk security measure, that I am quite surprised has not been taken away by now.
    The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.
