Just a thought. If they are removing stock from the shelves. 1. Purchase any item at the nearest price 2. At the till state you are buying as gift and obtain a "gift receipt" 3. They are bound to have a sale after xmas with loss leaders and will also by then will have restocked the shelves. 4. Return item for exchange with your receipt the price of which will come off your new purchase.0

The Currys/Pc World branch in Trostre Park, Llanelli have also now removed the FREE Gift Guides
from the entrance and placed them behind the counter. Each customer is now allowed only one copy,
BUT if you cash in a voucher, as I did this week, you are then refused another Gift Guide. The young female cashier
even told me that I now had to buy something else in order to get another FREE catalogue.
Seems like the store is not very happy at giving things away for next to nothing, so much so that it appears they are now probably
unable to get rid of the stock.!
Tonight, (Saturday), on National Television, Pc World are advertising the Free Gift Guide.
It now seems that because of the restriction on giving away the magazine, they have been forced
to spend a huge sum of money advertising the offer again. Serves them right!0 -
Maybe they should get some of us MSE'ers to run these companies.
School boy error not having a minimum spend. D'OH!!!!! Oh well, all the better for us0 -
...yes, the staff have now been instructed to take the guides off display and to hand them to customers (only 1 per family) as it seems that some people have been abusing the system by wanting to use multiple vouchers (1 customer wanted to use 6 vouchers to buy 6 £4.99 games)....0

I went to pick up a voucher booklet yesterday at currys and they would not let me have one unless I spent £5 first?!! is that allowed?
If I wasnt feeling well I would of bought something then got a refund on it! just to get the booklet
So you have to spend a fiver, to save a fiver? If they had said that in the first place, cool - but they didn't. Since when have free gift guides only been for paying customers?!
Dumbasses. I think they are making themselves look a bit silly, here. And all because some higher up isn't very smart.0 -

in order to get another dynamic IP address; otherwise you will waste a voucher by receiving the exact same bar code number!0 -

I just get myself a free speaker for 4.99 without paying extra. You don't need to be guilty or feeling well about it since they are giving 15 million away as they had advertised on the guide book . Cheers! Good luck on your shopping!0
