You got some good stuff there! I'm not as jealous as I was, as your extra items were just pads and batteries lol. I missed out on the sandwich toaster though, a bit gutted about that :(
  • I used about 20 vouchers. But did spend about £70 of my own money so they probably broke even from me.
£44 on a portable Hard disk. £15 on fairy cake maker. Rest mostly on batteries and Pen drives, some of which I paid the odd 50p or £1 extra.

  • Just an update from me -

On the 22nd December, I went in to my local Curry's store with the voucher and I tried to buy something for £7. I was told that they had stopped the promotion as they were losing too much money from it - even though I got an email ON the 22nd, reminding me to go in! I rung their head office up and they'd send me a £10 voucher out of good will, which I have not yet received. I'll give it a few days, but do you think this is one for trading standards?

Used loads of the £5 vouchers. Also got a £25 voucher sent to me after I complained to HO regarding their shop assistant's lack of customer focus when processing one of my vouchers. For info, I haven't spent a penny at PCW when using any of the vouchers. I just luv PCW !
  • i had terrible customer service and finally had a manger let me use a voucher as "goodwill"...tbh most of what poeple got they didnt need..i got some paper which i need for uni and my bf a pc game which he loves...but it was much more hassle than it was all worth :(
Need a new start..wheres good to live in the UK?!
  • Alsospotted a mistake, went to buy a dvd recorder for an xmas pressie, the shop price was £10 more then in the catalogue, I asked a store assistantand was told the cat price was only a guide, when i went to pay i presented my voucher but the price was still £5 more then the cat price, I informed the till lady who contacted the manager, she gave me a choice to either use the £5 voucher or i could have it back and they will take the £10 off, I opted for the 2nd, then went back instore, picked up something for £4.50 and used voucher.

week before xmas i was emailed another voucher which i had not claimed so it was surprised, but this one was refused as my address had been flagged as all ready been used when i tried to redeem it, the guy seemed surprised when i then said i didn't want the memorystick, still cannot fathom why they sent me 2 vouchers on the same email address with the same code?
