They usually go up no earlier than two weeks before Christmas and come down a day or two into the new year.0

It's my sons birthday on the 18th and ever since he was small we've always put the decorations up on the 19th so he has his day first. Always used to put them up through the night when the kids were little so they woke up in the morning to a surprise.0

Although the last few years they have gone up slight before because that's when the weekend was and I had the time! It felt weird breaking my tradition so to speak but grown up practicalities just got in the way!
my birthday is the 13th december too !!!0 -

This year ours will go up when we have the time! We are a scouting family and every two years in our district is mayhem as we have Scout Post (a charity post just for Christmas cards) that takes up every spare evening sorting the post and weekends delivering it, and every two years we have our District Gang Show that rehearses september to performance in February and this year the rehearsals are on Saturdays and Sundays!
So, hopefully they will be up before Christmas! lol0 -
Ours go up about a week before Christmas and come down 12th night.I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

28th of Novemeber here we shall be out at our local forest to get our real tree - which incidentally has always lasted through to the new year (5th or 6th which ever is meant to be the right day?!) Never had a dead xmas tree ever......
So real tree at home the 28th - lights outside the 27th probably
Then will be celebrating fake Christmas with the oh the following week or the week after..... depending on working schedules...
Cant wait
Have wrapped all presents todayLove is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together0
